Paul Asr It is recommended to keep your tool update current. this will also keep your tool under warranty and provide support from the Autel tech support team. Autel does not punish you if you are not able to keep your updates current, and will back fill any missed information.
Is your tool under current update contract. It must be under an update contract to receive any updates. You don't want to update android unless you get it through the MaxiSys side of the device. Updating Android on it own can cause issued with the scan tool.

Next you will need to do a factory reset, DO NOT do this unless you under an update contract. Go to Android>Settings>Reset>Factory Data Reset>Erase SD Card>Reset Tablet. This will clear everything off your tablet and start you fresh again. Then you can do all of the update with room to spare.

When you select the update Icon from the MaxiSys home screen any system updates will be performed first.
