yuzuru has the best quad toe for me the jump is like levitation the angle of his rotation is super and so fast in the air and perfect landing on ice...
Yuzuru's quad toe is obviously the best because his landings are smooth and stable unlike the others that move their torso and have shaky landing foot, also he has most beautiful and tight air position. Joubert, Lambiel and Hanyu's jumps look like the highest to me. Plushenko and Yagudin's 4-3-3 4-3-2 combos are to die for! I don't see anyone these days doing this combo, it looks magnificent
+U Minji We forget about Nathan Chen's quads...FOUR in one FS at Nationals. I don't think too many skaters are as straight in the air as Nathan. His second quad looks so easy that he looks like he is doing a double...perfectly straight in the air and landing standing perfectly straight with the proper rotation and edges. I also was impressed by Jin's 2 final quads in the 2nd 1/2 of his program. He makes them easily and looks like he may add a fifth quad considering he can do a quad lutz, a quad Sal, a quad toe and a quad loop. IMO, he can only get on the podium if he changes all his triples to quads. If he does that. Do the scoring system allow all the triples to be changed into quads. I think he can do it. Just like Nathan, it seems as if he prefers quads to a triple axel. They both do not fall on quads as they do a triple axel.
Funny to read this now that he did manage 5 at 4CC. The GOE isn't usually great on his jumps, though. Of course, he's what, 17? So as long as he doesn't wear his body out with the insane number of quads there's plenty of room for improvement. But I find it hilarious how he does quads no problem, but still has issues with the 3A, the "easiest" jump of the lot.
Axel is very different from all other jumps, that's why some skaters struggle with it. Another examples are Lambiel or Patrick Chan. If I remember correctly there was only one season when Lambiel landed most of the Axel attempts. It's crazy, he would pop or fall on the Axel but then land two beautiful quads.
Yuzuru’s quads will never cease to inspire awe in me. He makes it looks so beautiful and effortless when it’s actually one of the most difficult accomplishments a person can achieve.
No Javier Fernandez?? He consistently lands both 4T and 4S in competitions. Also, "Yazuru" lol I think Yuzuru's 4T is the smoothest of any skater I've seen. When he lands it, it looks effortless. But, recently he hasn't been very consistent with it, and he can't jump it in combination yet. So I wouldn't consider him one of the best quad jumpers in the game YET, but I would say that he definitely has the potential to become the ABSOLUTE best, given his beautiful technique, if he can increase his consistency.
KaikiTsuki49 Javier Fernandez's 4S in my opinion is better than his 4T - and it is actually why he jumps Sal in the Short program. For that reason I didn't add him to this compilation of the best Quad Toe's. But surely he is one of the best 4 Sal jumpers of all time. About Yuzuru - he definitely deserved to be in this compilation. He already landed a lot of 4's in his carrier and he have a good % of the landed ones. He did struggle with 4 Toe this season, but it's only because of the injuries he had to face - it doesn't mean that it is not consistent. I mean, just look at the Toe that he did this season at Final Grand Prix in the short - it's just perfect, it can't be any better than that.
KaikiTsuki49 Just to add, Hanyu ws landing 4T-3T and 4T-3A combinations already when he was 15. He is not putting quad combo because of his layout construction that he moves all combinations to 2nd half to get more points :)
Daniil Timin Oh - I have no doubt he deserves to be in this compilation... so I probably shouldn't have said he's not one of the best jumpers xD What I'm saying is that his consistency probably isn't up there with the best yet. I completely forgot that this compilation was only for 4T, not for all quads haha
+KaikiTsuki49 Yuzuru does his quad Sal in the Grand Prix SP immediately to a spread eagle which makes it very very hard. At all four of his SP, FS, SP, FS, he made every single jump including the quad toe/ triple toes in all of his SP and FS from the NHK and Grand Prix in 2015.
1.Evgeni Plushenko 2.Yuzuru Hanyu 3. Brian Joubert and Patrick Chen Yuzuru Hanyu has got good speed in his quads and his landings are beautiful, but I feel Plushenko is the best. Plushy's quads are massive, clean landing and he always tries new and difficult combinations. Also there are very few occasions where he had to touch down, the quads are perfectly clean. Given that he is more tall and well built than hanyu, it takes him more strength to go into the quads.Since hanyu is skinnier, he can easily gain speed and height of the jump. Overall, as a skater Evgeni is the most amazing skater in History.
+Martin Pokmat I like Yuzuru's entry and exits from all of his jumps include all the quads. I think he should be given credit for his extry and exits from his jumps MORE.
Daniil Timin He did not get all +3's in many of his jumps...Yuzuru, that is. He even got some +1 for impeccable jumps. And at grad prix, Javi should not have gotten a +1 on his big mistake on his opening quad.
Many of Yuzu's quads and jumps are perfect, and definitely many of his quad toes. He should be getting +3's (up to 2018 when it was changed to +5 highest) and after 2018, +5's. When his jumps are perfect, which many of the time they are, he should get +5.
I think Plushenko is the best skater in history. 4 Olympic medals (2 gold and 2 silver). There is a video where he did 4T in 1998. And he did it in 2014 (16 years later!).
No, he is not and He has only one gold medal for competition of singles in olympic games... But Yuzuru has a two medails for singles!!!! He is best in history. PLuschenko said it too, that Yuzuru is best figure skater!
Elvis Stojko's quad triple at the 1997 worlds was the most iconic. it was the cleanest combo landed at that point and he was the first skater to consistently land the quad and use it as his not so secret weapon.
C'est Elvis qui m'a fait aimer le patinage grace à sa force et ses tentatives de quadruple boucle piqué, notamment in 1994 ! It's Elvis who made me love ice skating, due to his strenght and his attemps of quad toe loop, specially in 1994. ( my poor english...)
I would say that there are a few men not included in this list, but it IS very solid considering it is a list about consistancy. Kevin Reynolds Javier Fernandez
They should update Hanyu's quad with the perfect ones he did at the 2015 Grand Prix finals. His quad to immediate spread eagle is amazing. And in the FS, Hanyu did a quad/triple toe combo in the second half of his FS...wow!
Yuzuru Hanyu because he launches into it, like the BBC commentators would say, "with no hesitation." With others, you could see them thinking and psyching themselves up to it from a long way before the jump. The flow in and out, with barely any energy lost, so seamless.
kurt browning's quad jump looks sloppy compared to all the quad jumpers of today. If you look at patrick Chan, he does not flow out smoothly after the landing. I think Y. Hanyu is the best jumper out there. NOT only does he do the jumps but his landing is so silky smooth. He is the best skater of all time.
Vivian Triana Patrick would be unbeatable if he figured his 3 Axel, because 4T he lands like it is a single jump. I'm very excited that he is back this year!
***** His edge was questionable. And back in Stojko's days, they don't have replay to make sure it had the full rotation. I'm pretty sure he was short(no pun intended).
+Angelo Watler From what I remember Stojko did a lot of 2 footed quads. Take a look on the video at 7:48 comparison of Plushenko and Stojko jumps. Do you really think Stojko is should be among the best quad toe jumpers of all time? Tim Goebel will be in the compilation of the best quad Salchow's.
Your compilation was incomplete without Javier Fernandez!. The speed of his quad is so excelerated and his posture soaring upward is almost always more erect than most of the skaters mentioned. His quad is most perfect, most often!
I dont know how he does it, but Yagudin's quads look like triples. And his triples look like doubles almost. To me his jumps are the most interesting to watch!
Lambiel's rotation axis gets totally off before landing. Watching this in 2023 ofc, Patrick and Yuzu are the bests. Even Plushenko's body posture looks weird when you look at Hanyu rotating straight like he's pulled upwards with a string. I do not see anybody else among the current skaters who can get even close to that quality. He was born to skate. Perfect aesthetics, combined with perfect technique.
Chan is in this list? Really? Um...not with the amount of falls he's had off it! Well, how can there be any other winner? Plushenko, of course, still landing them at 32 and with metal in his back!
I don't know how you could have excluded Timothy Goebel. He's the most consistent Quadruple jumper.. and only one who can do a 4S-3T combination with such ease.
You just answered to your question - here is the compilation of the quad toe loop's. Timothy will definitely be in the compilation of the best quad salchow's. And I absolutely agree that he is among the most consistent quadruple jumpers of all time :).
yuzuru has the best quad toe for me the jump is like levitation the angle of his rotation is super and so fast in the air and perfect landing on ice...
nonez IMHO this year his quad toe wasn't as consistent but it might be because of the injuries he had
Yuzuru's quad toe is obviously the best because his landings are smooth and stable unlike the others that move their torso and have shaky landing foot, also he has most beautiful and tight air position. +U Minji with the new judging system it's not worth doing combinations like that at the beginning of the program.
Just like Nathan, it seems as if he prefers quads to a triple axel. They both do not fall on quads as they do a triple axel.
+Vette gaddia there are a lot of younger guys have really nice quads, Daniel Samohin's quad toe is super consistent also.
Funny to read this now that he did manage 5 at 4CC. The GOE isn't usually great on his jumps, though. Of course, he's what, 17? So as long as he doesn't wear his body out with the insane number of quads there's plenty of room for improvement. Hanyu's quad toe is the best one. he's just flying over the rink
For me yuzuru is the best, he's so clean
Hanyu's jumps are so satisfying to watch!
Plushenko was and is everything
Yuzuru’s quads will never cease to inspire awe in me. He makes it looks so beautiful and effortless when it’s actually one of the most difficult accomplishments a person can achieve.

Plush is the best ice skater in the history.
Plush = Technical + Beauty
Hanyu = Technical + Beauty
Others = Only Technical

What a funny joke. Stephane and Patrick not artistic in comparison to Plushenko? You are clearly joking.
lyverbird1973 Not the same. Plush is other level of art.
+Xellos Florencio Disagree entirely.
Watch Alexei Yagudin and you'll realize why Plushenko is always second to him. Alexei is King.
Xellos Florencio Yes, he's on another level. A level below.
Javier Fernandez should be included.
Yuzuru is best. He has most clean the quad Toe Loop from this group.
+Martin Pokmat I like Yuzuru's entry and exits from all of his jumps include all the quads. I think he should be given credit for his extry and exits from his jumps MORE.
+Vette gaddia he can't get any higher goe than +3 :)
Daniil Timin He did not get all +3's in many of his jumps...Yuzuru, that is. He even got some +1 for impeccable jumps. And at grad prix, Javi should not have gotten a +1 on his big mistake on his opening quad.

I think Patrick's are the best
Plushenko was born with quad toe loop i think. And Yuzuru too.
I think Plushenko is the best skater in history. 4 Olympic medals (2 gold and 2 silver).
There is a video where he did 4T in 1998. And he did it in 2014 (16 years later!).
Baan-Tipviman Samui I agree. He is!
Baan-Tipviman Samui But people has dificult to understand it.
He's not the best.
No, he is not and He has only one gold medal for competition of singles in olympic games... But Yuzuru has a two medails for singles!!!! He is best in history. PLuschenko said it too, that Yuzuru is best figure skater!
I love Yagudin....His skating is so beautiful and dramatic to watch. I can't forget his performance at 2002 Olympics.
Elvis Stojko's quad triple at the 1997 worlds was the most iconic. it was the cleanest combo landed at that point and he was the first skater to consistently land the quad and use it as his not so secret weapon.

Evgeni Plushenko, of course...
Thanks for posting!! They are all fabulous skaters….
Alexei !!!
KING ALEXEI YAGUDIN
I would say that there are a few men not included in this list, but it IS very solid considering it is a list about consistancy.
Kevin Reynolds
Javier Fernandez

Plushenko is the best quad jumper of all time.
I CE he is one of them that's for sure! Can't believe it, he still does it now!
No, That would be either Nathan Chen or Boyang Jin.
I CE the best skater too!
King Plushenko is the best!
I think that Chengjiang Li has the best quad toe loop ever!
Hanyu's quad is the best of them all, he landed his quads gracefully.
Kamila’s quad toe is best of them all
@@Eska_flop7LMAO!!! Not that doper!
I think I like Jubert's jumps the most.
I'm sure Plushenko is over the 100 quads in competitions, too
Yuzuru Hanyu because he launches into it, like the BBC commentators would say, "with no hesitation." With others, you could see them thinking and psyching themselves up to it from a long way before the jump. The flow in and out, with barely any energy lost, so seamless.
Yuzuru, NOT YAZURU
5:09 was absolutely massive

it has to go to Patrick I think, he can do that quad-triple combination as if it was nothing
Vivian Triana Patrick would be unbeatable if he figured his 3 Axel, because 4T he lands like it is a single jump. I'm very excited that he is back this year!
Thank you for the compilation! This is so satisfying to watch hahahaha
what about nathan chen he has the record of the most quad jumps in a program
How are Elvis Stojko and Tim Goebel not included in this video?
+Angelo Watler Stoiko has dreadful form.
***** His edge was questionable. And back in Stojko's days, they don't have replay to make sure it had the full rotation. I'm pretty sure he was short(no pun intended).
***** No Elvis has, horrid technique and horrid artistry, sorry, I am really sorry but he is horrid.
+Angelo Watler They are not even close to these skaters, that's why. Elvis in the same video as Yuzuru? You are kidding, right?
Patric Chan's are the best.
Yannick Ponsero had unique quad toeloop. Incredible elevation, air position, high and super fast rotation.
АЛЕКСЕЙ ЯГУДИН!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your compilation was incomplete without Javier Fernandez!. The speed of his quad is so excelerated and his posture soaring upward is almost always more erect than most of the skaters mentioned. His quad is most perfect, most often!

yuzu makes the quad look way to easy
Wow no Javier Fernandez?
It's a very good compilation! I really enjoyed it ! :-)
+Sophie Acapella Thank you! Compilation of the best 4 Salchow's will be coming soon :)
4:30 prerotated?
All 4T are roughly half prerotated
有点好奇是如何做到
跳完之后要站得稳
然后继续滑行
真是不好容易
太棒了
向这些Skater 们致敬。😀💪🌻

+walover165 yeah Chan's quad is pretty consistent, he hove more troubles with the triple axel
Chan was very consistent with 4T
>patrick chan
>consistent
OMG LOL
at the time Chan never missed quad toe loop
No Elvis?
I don't see how Browning's quad was a quad. Where Scott Hamilton is already saying "1", in his revolutions, Kurt isn't off the ice, yet.
El patinador que haga 5 giros será el histórico jajaja
I don't know how you could have excluded Timothy Goebel. He's the most consistent Quadruple jumper.. and only one who can do a 4S-3T combination with such ease.

5:47. Stepháne
those were toe walleys.
What about Yuri and Victor ;-;
Hobii anime characters.
Yuzuru Hanyu the flying warrior
Where’s Nathan Chen?
He wasn't that consistent or that good when this video was made.
Yuzuru Hanyu
Kurt Brownig wasn't first ! First was legend Jumping Joe!!!
Joe was two footed so wasn't counted as first. Doesn't take away Joe's amazing achievments
Zhenya is the best ever
Lmao this just reminds me of Yuri On Ice
yurrio
i'd rather playstation
Patrick Chan by far. Joubert's are ugly.
