To think of the number of years that the UK government denied these peopled their veterans that risked their lives, British citizenship so they would not have to give them a pension.
I know, absolutely disgusting, I couldn't believe it. Of all the people, ex-Gurkhas and their families should have been an automatic 'yes' if they wanted citizenship. Proof that some politicians are complete a-holes...
@@yank-tc8bz maybe mate, but I am undefeated in any fight i ever had, especially at the football. my man tells me i shouldn't attack the police, but i can't wait to get stuck in.
Yea for real Gurkhas,u have to b a Nepalese n hold green passport of Nepal 🇳🇵either if u r officer than come to Gurkhas Regiment you’ll b send Nepal for course.!!
@roger1965100 You can only join the Gurkhas as an officer. After you join one of the regiments of the Brigade of Gurkhas, you'll be sent to Nepal for some time to learn Nepali so that you can command your men better. The Gurkha soldiers are recruited from Nepal only.
Those "idiots" were the families of the soldiers who passed out that day, and that day belonged to the soldiers and their families not the band. By the sound of it seems you're the fucking idiot here.
there was a style of drill used on frosty mornings called " spring drill" it was immensely fast maybe like 220 paces to the minute, we used to do maybe 10 minutes of it, used to help stop you shivering on working parade. the pace was so fast that the squad, troop or platoon drilling at that pace naturally lean into the direction of marching. That included all drill movements ie left , right and about turns. It was amazing to watch. I have looked for examples on you tube but never found it, does anyone know if its still practiced ?
pj moseley we called that getting rifted! I know it was stopped before I went to the depot as an Cpl instructor 👩🏫 n the late 90’s . My brother is a Cpl recruit instructor now and he says it’s totally forbidden as it causes lower leg injuries. He says the Health and Safety culture is crazy, eg no physical punishments (press ups etc, not punching lol) unless it is a formal PT lesson. Even fieldcraft the days of a 200m leapord crawl punishment is gone. And pokey drill is now in the history books! But at least we still have young people still willing to serve and that I commend!
Pusser drill was the original drill of the British Army ( not light drill which has basically unchanged) until the 1950’s when the bend and drive was introduced. I don’t know why it was introduced though.
I was in Malaya with the Gurkas. They deserve everything they get. God Bless them
Same here. Fine soldiers, and a privilege to be alongside them.
God bless everyone of them
Very nice god bless you 😍😍😍
I’m a veteran, I think that It was privilege to have served in the same army as these brave Gurkhas soldiers
Excellent performance as usual from the gurka regiment 👍
Best wishes for you babu 😘🥰👍🌹🌷 god bless you 👏🌸🌺🌹🌷
Dream✌️❤️🇳🇵
I wonder why the Union Flag is being flown upside down? That used to be a distress signal.
Well the British Army is in distress. Croatia has a bigger army now with all the cutbacks that have gone on.
thank god the Gurkhas are on our side hehehe

That was not the reason. They have always had a military pension.
The Union Flag is upside down. Sorry pet hate. However...…..well done lads.
Do you have to be Nepalese to join the Gurhkins or can I join? I'm from Liverpool and can scrap anybody who fancies a go.
"scrapping" does not a good soldier make.

@@patricklamshear6662 Okay, it's still upside down.
Respect - you get those medals with the rations I can assure you...
Would be interesting to know which particular medals you are referring to? I can see Kosovo, Afghan & Iraq although most are difficult to identify.

Ah Hora Saroj sir 🤣🤣🤣🤣 hubby ❤
Why are there always some idiots ruining the display and the music by clapping in time with the drums?
