One more tip for procrastination: try 3-2-1 method. Just like a race. When you are lazy and avoiding working, just count from 3 to 1 and start working at 1. This has helped me a lot. Do try
@@MuhammadAhsan-es9dp Ok suppose you have to do an assignment but you are lazy / procrastinating it and lying down on your bed instead. At this time all you have to do is count - 3-2-1 and immediately get up at 1. This is just like a race. In race you just take off when you hear the gun shot or 1 after a 3-2-1 count. Similarly you have to get up at 1 here. Your competitive self will compel you to get up from the bed at 1. Do this dramatically if you want. Maybe it will fill you with that sportsman spirit. All the best!!
@Megha_M09 I was doing this tip for months, but it lost its magic seems that my brain tolerated with the 5 secs rule …. Do you have any advices for a procrastinator like me
Short, Simple, Straightforward, No blah blah blah... Exactly the video i've been looking for all day... I watched some super lengthy vidoes about journaling and was not able to figure out how to start. This is it. I'm gonna start tomorrow 👍🏻
dude this is so on time for me, i just bought a journal for 2025 and ive been trying it out for a few days now but i didnt have a good template to stick to, so it became on and off... these prompts are great esp the gratefulness one!! thanks man
Just as I was doomscrolling and procrastinating on writing an essay, I found this video. I have so many journals and notebooks lying around, and I've always wanted to start journaling consistently but I've never been able to keep up the habit and would drop it after a while. It's probably because I'd write pages and pages since I had so much on my mind, but forcing myself to write for a long time isn't sustainable long-term. Thank you so much for the tips and I'll definitely be trying them, I also love that you included writing to God as well, it's very important and I love gratitude and prayer-focused journaling.
Just for adding the Lord, Jesus Christ, I thank you for this reminder of having God in our hearts and for the template. It was honestly kinda hard looking at other people's journaling tips as a begginer and it gets pretty overwhelming hehe. Thank youuuuu🙏🙏

well i hope this helps but like how i do things is that ive wrote a list of things i want to achieve in my whole lifetime, then for the next 5 years, then the next year and then the next month and then the following day i usually keep the lifetime, 5 years and year one separately but for the monthly one i keep it with the daily one and while im journalling i always write 4-5 goals i want to achieve the next day which is the daily goal and then i write about whether i achieved it or not and if i did i would write about how i could make it better and i do the same for the monthly as well but as for the lifetime one i keep it on the first page of the journal and i look at it and i realize what i have to do and for the yearly one and the 5 year one im trying to find a way to keep that inside a letter and make to appear to me after an year and 5 year. i do agree that your way of writing the journal is good but i would've preferred to keep God in the first before anything.
@AaryaDhami nice!!! That is such a good method:) Rn i use a similar one, where i daily reflect on the actions towards my set goals that are on my board in front:) Keep up the progress G🔥🔥🔥💪
