Former Eagle, Seth Joyner thinks there is some shady happenings after Jalen came out of the tent. He said the procedure is you go in the blue tent, and if they feel you have a concussion, you go STRAIGHT from the tent right into the locker room. They don't just let you go out the tent, go back out, watch some of the game, PUT YOUR HELMET BACK ON, and THEN go to the locker room. He thinks there were some shady things where the NFL just didn't want Jalen to play.

The biggest problem I saw yesterday was no adjustment made when players were out. No adjustments on defense when we lost payers on defense (missing Davis and CJGJ was critical), and not switching from RPO’s to traditional play-action once Pickett got in knowing they was gonna load the box and he wasn’t running.
Special Teams looked horrible for the Birds, must get these crucial areas fixed if trying to make a serious run for the Lumbardi.....big returns against us not acceptable, especially with cowgirls Turpin " capable of making House calls...

Its crazy how important Jalen Hurts is, not just to offense but the whole team. This is first game in a while that defense allowed 36 points. It almost felt like his Hurts presence makes the whole team play better. I have so much more respect for Jalen Hurts.

Agreed. And heres a fun fact, the more you can rpo and hit your 3rd downs and 4th downs, then the longer the drives are gonna be. A few things benefit from that, two being, The time of Posession Battle, and Controlling the clock and resting the defence. Which you gotta run the ball to be able to provide that, but also make your 1st downs.
Jalen impact was huge, I genuinely believe we would have blown out the commanders with Jalen in the game. Our defense had some blown coverages, and drop passes really hurt us. Devonta Smith's drop was tough to watch, but I wish Jalen a speedy recovery. Props to Jayden.. man is special.

Sirianni should have called a timeout before that last play. So many times you see coaches call a timeout to see the formation the offense comes out in, so they can prepare the defense better. They had two timeouts, unsure why they didn’t use one there.
This game proved to everyone that this offense does not work without Hurts, next man up is great, but you cannot replace the talent and skill set Hurts has

@@JosephAngell-x7x I think this is more indicative of Pickett's inept play. Don't get me wrong, any team who loses their starting QB will probably struggle but Pickett still had two top WRs, a top OL, and a MVP RB. Any competent QB could have mild to moderate success on this offense.
I think what made the Milton Williams call so bad was that flag that was picked up for the similar situation with Pickett where the guy dropped his shoulder. If you're gonna call that Daniels one, be consistent.

This wasn't a cheap shot BTW. Run with the football = you become a runner and can be hit. That's why you should give yourself up as the QB and not try to extend for two extra yards like Hurts. Or cheat like Mahomes always does, which makes life unsafer for every other QB because defenders can't trust them. Better to give them a final lick so they stay down or crash into some TV cameras than risk being taken advantage of. Hurts was just dumb and got himself injured because of it. Get down and all is well. It's not that complicated.

Commanders shut down Saquon Barkley the second half. Pickett made very few mistakes. Your defense cost you the game. And your receivers dropped perfect passes. And Barkley got shut down 2nd half. Jalen Hurts wouldn't have changed that. Suck it up!

They can shift their main effort to stopping the run and then Kenny Pickett does as good as he can being a backup.

You're acting like it's week 6...watching this defense play this poorly 2 weeks away from the playoffs isn't the greatest vote of confidence...They're going to benefit from playing the Cowboys and Giants in the final weeks but watching another playoff team put up 34pts while having 5 turnovers should be a small cause for concern, especially this late in the season

The first unsportsmanlike on CJGJ, regardless of what was said, should have been offsetting. How do you hit a guy in the face, knock his helmet off while the ref watches and NOT also get flagged? The unsportsmanlike on Carter was also weak as hell, and the one roughing the passer on Milton Williams was absolutely bogus as well. From pulling Hurts despite him saying he's OK, going in the blue tent, coming out and getting ready to go back in only to get pulled to the locker room, to not calling the shot to the head on AJ in the end zone, to ejecting CJGJ and NEVER ONCE (that I saw) showing what he did for the second unsportsmanlike was wild. He didn't seem to have any idea why, either. I also think the first unsportsmanlike on Carter, having him see CJGJ get ejected really caused him to temper his play a bit, too, to avoid getting ejected. It was a crazy crazy game by the refs.

Sirianni should have called a timeout before that last play. So many times you see coaches call a timeout to see the formation the offense comes out in, so they can prepare the defense better. They had two timeouts, unsure why they didn’t use one there.

@@marinasands4319Idk if that’s all we needed. We just need a backup that can throw the ball when necessary. The commandos packed the box and dared Pickett to beat them over the top and he couldn’t. Once they realized he doesn’t have the arm strength they sold out on the run game.
@@JosephAngell-x7x I think this is more indicative of Pickett's inept play. Don't get me wrong, any team who loses their starting QB will probably struggle but Pickett still had two top WRs, a top OL, and a MVP RB. Any competent QB could have mild to moderate success on this offense.

Here’s something that will make the fellow Eagles fans even more mad at Shawn Smith: he’s the same ref that didn’t call a penalty on the cheap shot to Carson Wentz
This wasn't a cheap shot BTW. Run with the football = you become a runner and can be hit. That's why you should give yourself up as the QB and not try to extend for two extra yards like Hurts. Or cheat like Mahomes always does, which makes life unsafer for every other QB because defenders can't trust them. Better to give them a final lick so they stay down or crash into some TV cameras than risk being taken advantage of. Hurts was just dumb and got himself injured because of it. Get down and all is well. It's not that complicated.

Jalen Hurts don't play defense. Jayden Daniels scored the winning TD on your #1 ranked defense. Commanders shut down Saquon Barkley the second half. Pickett made very few mistakes.

They can shift their main effort to stopping the run and then Kenny Pickett does as good as he can being a backup.

The officials in this game..insane. Daniel's is going to be great in this league, but he got a lot of help.
The first unsportsmanlike on CJGJ, regardless of what was said, should have been offsetting. How do you hit a guy in the face, knock his helmet off while the ref watches and NOT also get flagged? The unsportsmanlike on Carter was also weak as hell, and the one roughing the passer on Milton Williams was absolutely bogus as well. From pulling Hurts despite him saying he's OK, going in the blue tent, coming out and getting ready to go back in only to get pulled to the locker room, to not calling the shot to the head on AJ in the end zone, to ejecting CJGJ and NEVER ONCE (that I saw) showing what he did for the second unsportsmanlike was wild. He didn't seem to have any idea why, either. I also think the first unsportsmanlike on Carter, having him see CJGJ get ejected really caused him to temper his play a bit, too, to avoid getting ejected. It was a crazy crazy game by the refs.

@ we were one missed field goal kick away from the game being tied. As Thomas said, the defense was sloppy and if Devonta had caught the pass inside the 20 we would’ve iced the game. Analyze the whole game before criticizing a player who played 0 first team snaps this week who still led the eagles to the best of his ability.

You beagle fans are so delusional! The refs were bad on both sides. They called Lattimore for a PI when he fell down & Brown kept running and could not come close to the ball. I don’t want to hear any noise about Hurts getting hurt. If the beagles scored 10 points then ok. They scored 26 points after Hurts went down and had the number 1 defense and lost. Hurts let Daniel’s drop bombs all over the field?! Hurts couldn’t have thrown a better ball than Pickett did to Smith that would have sealed the game. The Commies had FIVE TURNOVERS! FIVE! 1,2,3,4,5! Backup scored 26 points, you were up 21-7, we had 5 turnovers, you even said Lattimore was awful and after all that, you still lost. Your defense got lit up like fireworks on the 4th of July. It seemed like your special teams were full of “special” people who rode the short bus to school, from the way they played. Any team who scores 33 points with the supposed best defense and gets 5 turnovers should never lose, no matter who the QB is. This is the first time since 2002 that the commies won a game after turning over the ball 5 times. Did Hurts allow Daniel’s to run for 30 yards on 4th and 11?! Your team gave up 30 yards to a known running QB on 4th & 11. It was not the refs. It was not Hurts. It was not anything but the Commies made in-game changes and the eagles did not. If Lattimore was so bad then why not throw to brown every play?! Did Hurts leave a rookie wideout wide open and then had two defenders make some of the worst tackle attempts I’ve ever seen and let him strut in for a TD?! The commies beat the eagles. Period!

A loss sucks...but it is tough to beat the same team, especially a divisional opponent 3 times in the same year. So, we got the loss out of the way and now we can beat them in the playoffs when it truly matters. Another great vid. Go Birds!!

There was several plays that were called were absolutely ridiculous as well as penalties but honestly not having hurts was critical on that 4 and 1 play
