Fun Fact MTF Omega-7 failed because they assumed all Humanoid SCPs would work for their purpose. Their hubris earned them a bloody and humbling demise courtesy of Scp-076.
I think that's half the truth. I think the primary incident that caused the disbanding of Omega-7 is an incident that happened at the site of SCP-354 at some point there was a massive breach and the last thing heard through the comm channel was "send in Omega-7" my assumption is that something really bad happened to that site because it seems like they applied Amnestics to the entire site. hence why when the expedition which went through the pool came back, the site staff said that no one has any records of the expedition sent through. And the only logical reason is that the application of Amnestics occurred between the time the expedition left and returned because of whatever happened after Omega-7 were deployed.
There's a counter task force for Red Right Hand, Law's Left Hand, who work for the Ethics Committee and are assigned to take out and replace the O-5's in case they get power hungry, which has happened once.
Remember there is no direct canon in the SCP foundation MTF STIGMA-9 exists in canons where the church of the broken god and the foundations are enemies. Also remember there are different factions of the church. While one or two factions may be friendly with the foundation that doesnt mean the other faction is as well. One this, but also if the Broken God is put back together, best case is a Lifted Veil Scenario, worse case we're looking at a XK or HK Class Scenario. So... makes sense to be posed to stop them, even if a Lifted Veil probably won't be that bad.
In some canons the Church of the Broken God considers SCP-217, an infectious Keter Class virus that turns those afflicted into bio-mechanical constructs, to be the blood of their god and there is evidence that they may have been responsible for prior outbreaks... even some in urban areas.
Zeta 9, aka Mole rats aka the D class of all MTF. They have one of the highest casualty rate in every SCP exploration logs because they are basically the miner's canaries to the foundation. They wear little protection against chemical, fire or electrical hazards because there is no point to it. If they don't know whether the portal they found will lead to a volcano or a cave filled with poison gas they wouldn't know what protection to wear anyway. And since they always jump first into the unknown, right after the sending in the D class, they tend to die alot.
25:55 - I believe it's because the Foundation generally doesn't *care* if the anomalies are benevolent or not (one's like SCP-4999 being the exception due to being largely self-containing), they exist therefore they will be contained. Being "nice" simply means they're given a lower priority than the dangerous ones. Kinda like how the Imperium doesn't consider the Tau dangerous enough to actually devote the resources needed to wipe them out. They'll get around to it... later, once they deal with the more dangerous threats.
Fun fact MTF Alpha-1 was created as a replacement for the Chaos Insurgency after they seceded from the foundation for real and no longer as a guise to serve the O5 Council covertly
Some say that the CI are still somehow under the control of the O5 Council, but the Council portray them as a hostile GOI as to prevent the truth from coming to light.
My personal favorite origin is the one that happens after WW1 i think, where a bloody civil war happens due to many members returning as veterans and disagreeing on their principles and stuff. It was an interesting read on how they degraded from their founding intentions into what they are now.
"Why aren't there TV shows made about the SCP universe?" Copyrights. People within the community made tabletops, comics, animated/live action shorts, ...etc, and that's fine by the community. There were several fiasco years back about copyrights issue, one of which involved trying to make an SCP movie if I remember right. SCP is a public writing community and essentially public domain, but the moment someone try to profit off of it such as a Hollywood film, then it become a problem. It will inevitably be copyrighted, and suddenly the community lost the right to use what was once ours.
That whole copyright drama was simply some Russian guy who went to the courts in Russia, and because of the rediculous trademark laws there, he was able to get full trademark rights for Scp despite the whole community agree that everything Scp related is fair use for anyone to make content out of
@@solowing9544 And then they start talking to you directly, asking you to bring your valuable SCPs to them as if they don't plan on replacing half your bodyweight with hot lead the nanosecond they catch sight of you. Church of the Broken God aren't necessarily the "good guys". There are factions of it that are just as bad and monstrous as the Neo-Sarkites... There isn't one canon in the SCP Universe- there are many SCPs and tales that contradict each other. There are some established canons like "Broken Masquerade" which is a canon in which the existence of the anomalous and of the SCP Foundation becomes public knowledge and there are even Foundation recruitment commercials like those army commercials you sometimes see on TV, or "Daybreak" which is a collection of multiple tales following the end of the world caused by SCP-001 "When Day Breaks". Ultimately whatever you believe is canon, is the canon, and what you don't isn't.
(Unless I missed it) They didn’t mention Omega-1, Law’s Left Hand, the Ethics Committee’s counterpart to Alpha-1, Red Right Hand! When the 05’s or Alpha-1 get out of hand, or there’s a serious breach of ethics requiring *major* intervention, the Committee sends in Omega-1 to deal with it. I love them.
This video was made a good couple of years ago, like 2020 or prior If I remember right, and Omega 1 is a relatively recent group in Scp compared to most
20:11 I looked it up because I recognized some of the concepts. The members of MTF Omicron Ro can, quite literally, physically enter people's dreams. In our real world, the Oneiroi (sin., Oneiros) were summoned and used as messengers and portents by the gods of Greece, usually sent to particular heroes or kings.
Though it's important to note that they don't own or control the Library in any meaningful way. It's basically just a safe place they can stay in and organize from.
They can manipulate it though, during a large scale raid of the library, the SH managed to use several temporal anomalies in order to change the flow of time in the library, some of the agents who went in came out approx 13 hours later yet said they were only in for a few seconds, while other somehow died of old age, or came out decades later from their perspective
You don’t need to remember all of these to understand SCP. Half of them probably don’t even exist in specific canons. Plus, this video is pretty old and since then more MTFs have likely gained popularity. My favorite is one he covers on his “SCP Bitesized” channel. It is MTF Omega-1: Law’s Left Hand. It is the counterpart to MTF Alpha-1: Red Right Hand, except Omega-1 is run by the Ethics Committee. They are equal in training and loyalty to Alpha-1 and have actual fought against them before. On another note, there will almost certainly not be a high-production SCP movie/TV series. The Creative Common license SCP is under make it so nobody can mark SCP as their property. The unfortunate part is, if someone were to make a SCP movie in theaters, they would be LEGALLY disallowed from protecting it from piracy.
Fun fact, MTF Nine Tailed Fox was featured in the game SCP: COntainment Breach. It got popular enough that the MTF was inducted into popular SCP canon.

They dont have a "space ship", they have multiple of them and with their levels of technologies they can build any amount of them as long as they want to
The best and worst thing about SCP stuff is if you watch/read a story about it you're doomed to watch/read 30 more just to figure out the entire context and with each story it get more interesting and gives you more questions. Which you need to answer with more stories.
