What do you think?
Why would Moses argue. He knew God and what he is in God. The Angels accept the truth of God and Moses was closer to Heaven than Earth. The 120 meant he completed his tour of duty here and although different levels of his existance might strugle or feel uncomfortable about letting go, returning, is a blessing.
The outer part of Gods mind would indeed have to settle down after loosing such an important connection. But remember, Moses as a body did nothing. God did everything. Abraham said something similar and God said give back the love I gave you, Isaac, as a lesson. When he ACCEPTED GODS TRUTH, he was allowed to keep Isaac.
The conversation makes Moses sound like a child.
What God creates in love in himself is welcomed home with even greater love.
@@jonerlandson1956 I was not aiming this at you.
Those who are sent by God and have awareness of the truth would worry about those here who are living without knowledge or acceptance. They would not fear death or fight fellow messangers of God. The text suggests Earth is better than heaven. The lower part of us might well want to continue as we are but the connected part of our mind would welcome the return to Gods awareness.

I hope I can meet Moses! What a character and absolutely unique person. The true history of man and God is fascinating and supernatural!
Same here Jason. After reuniting with my loved ones in HaOlam Haba Moshe is the one I most want to meet and talk to. Such a profound but solitary life he had/ has? He and G-d would speak like friends who knew each other. That he was not allowed to entered the Promised Land is tragic to me but G-d has His reasons and hopefully we will know the answers to all questions someday. G-d Bless.
Just what I thought.Ive been telling my mom 89 she has a gift so keep sharing your gift and she has dementia but she still knows her Creator
Ps 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. Thank you rabbi. A friend just died last week and your talk is so helpful. God bless dear Rabbi.
Oh my I was so sad to hear this, and teared! I had no idea those watching felt the same. Absolutely touching
I never knew all of this, really interesting to hear how Moses fought so hard to live at the time he was to die. Even his soul fought to keep alive. Moses' requests are priceless.
Ikr same here that's way beyond what King James Bible left out
Read "The Legends of the Jews" and take it for what it is worth.
This rabbi is wrong like most rabbis. Moses wouldn't of questioned God like that, and Moses wouldn't of wanted to live longer. He just wanted to see the promised land.
I've never learned so much about my God. You're incredibly gifted with wisdom about my GOD.
Our God
Thank you.... this is truly facilitating... it should be understood by God fearing people how important it is to honour a prophet like Moses.
I'm not even Jewish and I love Rabbi Friedman!
It is actually unreal. I'm not at all sensitive or emotional but these words made me cry. Such power! I want to start learning Torah and Hebrew this year.
Wow wow. This is exactly what I need and have needed. A genuine, realistic telling of the Torah. Read by a really cool rabbi:) where I can hear the native tongue of my lord translated to my ears. Closest to the lord and Moses I’ve ever been. Wow. We don’t get this in our secular churches and it makes me want to cry yet the tears would be bitter sweet. I have been looking for these kind of teachings my whole life.
. Thank you with all of my heart

Thank you Rabbi. I am so grateful as was guided to experience your teachings. I feel like I’ve discovered my way home.💞
Thank you so much for this treasure.
If is not written in the Bible ...I don't want to hear about it. People don't be decived...the blind will lead the blind. I want to see where is this information is coming FROM? DOES IT LINE UP WITH THE WORD OF GOD ?
Indeed.
He’s reading it for the Midrash(talmud) which is part of the oral Torah
It's true as a pentacoastal I've heard this
@@jeremyweir8745 heard! but did you see it on the bible
So hearing this I'm like .but also it's apart of Jewish culture as well
Thank you very much. Soul 'Neshama' Topic is always intriguing.
Very nice Rabbi. I enjoyed it a lot. I will join on Sundays..
Shkoyach! Love Rabbi Friedman, saw him twice when he came to our shul over the last few years. I still would love to spend a Shabbos afternoon with the rabbi. This video is obviously old, I am wondering when this was originally recorded. *EDIT* 1994 ...Just learned the Rabbi Friedman narrated videos for the Rebbe, a recent JEM post was narrated by him. Blessings to all who watch this, and may we witness great miracles in the coming days (Moshiach Now!).
i am a christian, but it's a new thing that i have never heard of at all, and it was never been taught
i need more like this
The dude is not reading from the bible - it's nonsense what he is saying - Moses never spoke these words.
@@Chris_Sheridan it coming from a hebrew bible that first originated you should study hebrew and read their bibles instead of reading the ones in English cause they dont have the details let me know when you read all 5 books and come back to me ok and you tell me the truth look it up for me stay bless 💯
@@babygamble :
*Dude, do yourself a favor and understand what the "Midrash Rabba" is before saying anything from its content is "coming from a Hebrew Bible" because it's not recognizes as a Bible in any form or language, it's nothing but Jewish forklore, fairtales and fanciful story telling about events not written in the Bible or inspired by GOD to be written as something that needs to be consumed as biblical knowledge. Stick with what is written in the pages of the Bible only and you can't go wrong or be lead astray.*
Dude where do you think the Bible originated from?? The Hebrew scriptures dummie!!
Thank you Rabbi ✡️
Peace out everyone and prayers 👍
This is one of the best historical stories ever. I cannot thank you enough. G@d bless

I really enjoyed watching this. For sure going to watch again.
Very interesting story, I have been learning a lot from your teachings.May God continue to bless you and protect you with good health to continue opening people’s eyes with the words of God.
Beyond words....it made me cry
Absolutely beautiful.
I wish I could join the mixed conversation.
I am not depressed just not enjoying the way that just as things begin to get organised- cancellation is arranged by Powers that be.
What is it all about ? Was it the mention of legal ? Maybe these other people have something to hide ? Again I am left completely in the dark. Sorry but I think I must pity them but even that doesn't make life any easier for me. No-one ever to talk to as usual.
Wonderful!!!❤️
What book are u reading..where can i find this book..
Thank you Rabbi, Knowledge i wouldn't have found, if i hadn't subscribed 🙏🏿

this is cool I like learning more about Moses Thank you Rabbi Manis and God bless to all
Beautifully bittersweet. 😭💕
Beautiful. Just little from the Torah and I feel this should be made into a great movie. God is awesome and frankly none like Moses.
Thank you for this
No one really knows all the details spoken by mosha. This is adding to the Word ! I believe you are just reading what someone else wrote. Thiñk for yourself. Enoch & Elijah didn't have to die. Be like a bird or animal, really? Enough !
I don’t really think Moses pleaded to stay alive during those days, remember when Moses cried to God to take his life or blot out his name from Gods book...
@@gerics please hook me up with the scripture chapter and verse where Moses asked to be taken or else be removed from the book. Please I need to compare and contrast because midrash conversation is not very literal it was opinionated or hypothetical it seems. Give me the verses I actually need them please.
Josephus had a story about Moses's early adulthood, that is not mentioned in the Old Testament Bible. He was a military commander that attacked Ethiopia. And had a symbolic marriage of peace with a royal Ethiopian daughter. He did not return back to Egypt with his new wife. Later, he married Zipporah, from the land of Arabia today. Moses lived to be 120 years. The exact age that God claimed, would be the maximum years he would allow. God, almost killed Moses on his way back to Egypt to free his people. His wife Zipporah saved him from death, by circumcising their son immediately. And tossing the son's foreskin towards Moses. That event always baffled me.
where can I find this information? I am very inquisitive .
Amazing, I’ve been so touched. Thank you so much

what specific source material is he reading from ?
The thoughts flown out from respected Rabbi are beyond imagination of ordinary believer. The listening people's thoughts travel towards heaven to understand. A step up taste of mystical matters. Such subject is to be fed to the wanting people to grow in Jewish n spiritual manner. Much to express but I can say it is surely a great blessing. Respects n regards to the Rabbi. Be benefitted n bless Israel. Shalom
Where can I read that story?? Please
Where is he reading from exactly? What scripture and which part?
Todah! Such an intense page... The death of MOSES!
Thank you Rabbi Manis Friedman, this teaching was very interesting, my question to you is, from which scroll or book do you get the information and I asked you because I am very interested to know more about "golden nuggets" about the patriarchs, I hope my question is not misplaced, this is the second time I listened to you.
Hello
A current writing with stories like this is called "The Legends of the Jews" or sometimes called "The Antiquities of the Jews"
I searched the internet for this literature but to no avail. Please help.
Thank you. would please tell me the name of the book?
Shalom rabbi , I always enjoy your clips spot on thank you , Hashem bless you . My question is whatever happened to his body God took his soul where is his body?
9 But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”
JUDE 1:9
@A Sojourner its truth please read the book of Jude.
This is so good, I'm 5 mins in and decided I gotta watch this later, but please, can someone tell me where the Rabbi Is Reading From
good question
@Bultaco Saturno who is the author of midrosh good sir , is this talmud commentary on the HOLY TORAH ? Thank you for sharing.
I believe this is from the "Midrash Rabba" commentary on the book of deuteronomy.
happy to meet you on the light flow of present
good heart is the real gate for thrue to grows up

hoping to be
such a long way from one to one

Where is this written, so I can read it too?
very revealing and beautiful passage well delivered.
i'm wondering rabbi, what text are you reading from and who wrote it? this scripture is not in the bible.
may THE MASTER of the universe guide us.
Talmud aka commentary to HOLY TORAH. That's what i think.
More specifically: the "Midrash Rabba" commentary on the book of Deuteronomy
Shabbat shalom
Awesome I just listened to audio on Moses death and came here for clarify. It's the same as you interpret thanks.
thank goodness. Finally someone who KNOWS the REAL story of Moses.
With utmost respect, I am wondering why Moses, a mighty prophet who used to speak to God directly did not understand these realities over which he is arguing with God? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you
I think Moses wanted to Go to the promise land but God had other plans for Him but in Moses mine He wanted to finish the yorney
That's what I think too, that after 40 years he wanted to do that last little bit to complete the journey he'd started. He was a Man of God for sure, but a man none the less.
I was thinking the same thing.. I think they are stories with extras put on them. Notice the big difference from reading the Word of God to hearing these stories or reading them. All the stories seem to have come from the Torah and been given a Hollywood twist to them all. Notice the dramatic effect each story has been given as if to have greater insight than what was written already. Stick to the actual Word.
I have learnt the true meaning to live thank you
My God
Thank you
Guys which book was the Rabbi reading from?
Great teaching
In one of your other videos you said that souls don't have names in heaven, names are for souls who's on earth. Meaning our personal names. So how can angels which are ministering spirits, have names?
This is confusing.
He's reading from Jewish folklore. Not the true Torah or Bible. Moses never said these words.
Where’s the next part of the teaching?
Thank you sir.
What book actually is this fella reading from ??? Can anyone help. ? Thanks
just curious where does he get all this information I wanna know because I would like to read it
Everything is in hebrew where it first originated before translation the bible now dont give you the details of the story
Who wrote it all down if Moses died? How could a living person have witnessed all of this and lived? Obviously, Moses could not have written anything about his own death. Additionally it seems like a fantasy. And lastly, whoever wrote this sent a chilling and disturbing message that there are no righteous people living on the earth, and that there are no living prophets on the earth. I believe that there are many. What purpose would it serve to tell people subliminally these things?
I heard the same history about Mussa with Muslim history. He must be a true friend of God to challenge him like that. No other prophets ever asked God in that manors. His case is particular.
lol Go back to the burning bush, their first conversation was an argument lol
The irony in Jonah telling God no is one of my fav's
We all argue with God in our own ways... God says do this or don't do that & we do the opposite, effectively telling God no
OTOH: Satan comes along & suggests we do this or that & we don't argue with him - facepalm
Rabbi can you tell me who Melchisadek was and why is he talked about from Genesis to Hebrews. Over 2000 years. Yet only mentioned 3x. Was he Shem?
Wow! Thank you. Good.
How much of the Torah explain moses than the old testament.seems like there is a lot more discussion between God and moses left out.but we have enough as Christian to believe in the old testament.
Which book is this written?
This is powerful. What book is that?.
I believe this is from the "Midrash Rabba" commentary on the book of deuteronomy.
Regardless of the esteem writings may be held in ,when you hear " a man's prayer shook the heaven and earth and went on to attack the seat of Divinity " ,anyone thinking of cause and effect and ,effect and cause, has got to say " red flag, red flag " .You need to get back to reading Moses and the prophets for it is there that the will of God is revealed . There is no need to deify Moses to give authority to those words . Listening to these red flags ,mocks God given intelligence .
There is a marked, real, and true difference between words spoken from Heaven, and the commentaries of mere mortal men, however winsome, and learned, of whatever denominational tradition. In short, there is the Word of God, and the words of men.
U are a great man Rabbi
What did I just hear? For someone like me who is trying to learn the Jewish way, I found that very unpalatable. It sounded like Greek and Hindu myth.
Me too. Whose teachings are these? To question The Master of the Universe, God's decision, and continuously at that? To stay on Earth is better than to go to Paradise, because on Earth is where God is really available, more so than in Heaven? Its hard for me to believe that these are the teachings of Prophet Moses (peace be upon him).
Did you listen till the end ?
Totally agree - although i do like this Rabbi when he speaks about God’s Word from the Torah but i do not like listening to these traditions of men about Moses that does sound like Greek mythology. Let’s stick to God Almighty’s inspired Word.
Thank you Rabbi 👍 , Barukh H'shem
What is he reading from
A kid blows a bubble in North Dakota. The bubble feezes instantly but also rippled as it is depressurized from cold. Much of this goes on in atmospheric cold to the elements getting quake effects. The Pacific shows what aswell goes on. The solar flares do amount to some part and balance. Next time a little girl says try to freeze a bubble..try to reason why. . Yes much frustration in being taken advantage of. Those not knowing have recycled it seems their ressurectuon for more. Maybe I'm wrong .maybe

Extremely interesting dynamic, between Yahweh and Moses. I have never learned of this story or account. I always had the understanding that Moses, would not enter the promised land, because of his having struck the stone and speaking out of turn?

I think Zochar...but not sure.
