Why would Moses argue. He knew God and what he is in God. The Angels accept the truth of God and Moses was closer to Heaven than Earth. The 120 meant he completed his tour of duty here and although different levels of his existance might strugle or feel uncomfortable about letting go, returning, is a blessing.
The outer part of Gods mind would indeed have to settle down after loosing such an important connection. But remember, Moses as a body did nothing. God did everything. Abraham said something similar and God said give back the love I gave you, Isaac, as a lesson. When he ACCEPTED GODS TRUTH, he was allowed to keep Isaac.
The conversation makes Moses sound like a child.
What God creates in love in himself is welcomed home with even greater love.

@@jonerlandson1956 I was not aiming this at you.
Those who are sent by God and have awareness of the truth would worry about those here who are living without knowledge or acceptance. They would not fear death or fight fellow messangers of God. The text suggests Earth is better than heaven. The lower part of us might well want to continue as we are but the connected part of our mind would welcome the return to Gods awareness.

Same here Jason. After reuniting with my loved ones in HaOlam Haba Moshe is the one I most want to meet and talk to. Such a profound but solitary life he had/ has? He and G-d would speak like friends who knew each other. That he was not allowed to entered the Promised Land is tragic to me but G-d has His reasons and hopefully we will know the answers to all questions someday. G-d Bless.

Josephus had a story about Moses's early adulthood, that is not mentioned in the Old Testament Bible. He was a military commander that attacked Ethiopia. And had a symbolic marriage of peace with a royal Ethiopian daughter. He did not return back to Egypt with his new wife. Later, he married Zipporah, from the land of Arabia today. Moses lived to be 120 years. The exact age that God claimed, would be the maximum years he would allow. God, almost killed Moses on his way back to Egypt to free his people. His wife Zipporah saved him from death, by circumcising their son immediately. And tossing the son's foreskin towards Moses. That event always baffled me.

All the stories seem to have come from the Torah and been given a Hollywood twist to them all. Notice the dramatic effect each story has been given as if to have greater insight than what was written already. Stick to the actual Word.

Who wrote it all down if Moses died? How could a living person have witnessed all of this and lived? Obviously, Moses could not have written anything about his own death. Additionally it seems like a fantasy. And lastly, whoever wrote this sent a chilling and disturbing message that there are no righteous people living on the earth, and that there are no living prophets on the earth. I believe that there are many. What purpose would it serve to tell people subliminally these things?

I heard the same history about Mussa with Muslim history. He must be a true friend of God to challenge him like that. No other prophets ever asked God in that manors. His case is particular.

lol Go back to the burning bush, their first conversation was an argument lol
The irony in Jonah telling God no is one of my fav's
We all argue with God in our own ways... God says do this or don't do that & we do the opposite, effectively telling God no
OTOH: Satan comes along & suggests we do this or that & we don't argue with him - facepalm

How much of the Torah explain moses than the old testament.seems like there is a lot more discussion between God and moses left out.but we have enough as Christian to believe in the old testament.

Regardless of the esteem writings may be held in ,when you hear " a man's prayer shook the heaven and earth and went on to attack the seat of Divinity " ,anyone thinking of cause and effect and ,effect and cause, has got to say " red flag, red flag " .You need to get back to reading Moses and the prophets for it is there that the will of God is revealed . There is no need to deify Moses to give authority to those words . Listening to these red flags ,mocks God given intelligence .

There is a marked, real, and true difference between words spoken from Heaven, and the commentaries of mere mortal men, however winsome, and learned, of whatever denominational tradition. In short, there is the Word of God, and the words of men.

What did I just hear? For someone like me who is trying to learn the Jewish way, I found that very unpalatable. It sounded like Greek and Hindu myth.

Me too. Whose teachings are these? To question The Master of the Universe, God's decision, and continuously at that? To stay on Earth is better than to go to Paradise, because on Earth is where God is really available, more so than in Heaven? Its hard for me to believe that these are the teachings of Prophet Moses (peace be upon him).

Totally agree - although i do like this Rabbi when he speaks about God’s Word from the Torah but i do not like listening to these traditions of men about Moses that does sound like Greek mythology. Let’s stick to God Almighty’s inspired Word.

A kid blows a bubble in North Dakota. The bubble feezes instantly but also rippled as it is depressurized from cold. Much of this goes on in atmospheric cold to the elements getting quake effects. The Pacific shows what aswell goes on. The solar flares do amount to some part and balance. Next time a little girl says try to freeze a bubble..try to reason why. . Yes much frustration in being taken advantage of. Those not knowing have recycled it seems their ressurectuon for more. Maybe I'm wrong .maybe

Extremely interesting dynamic, between Yahweh and Moses. I have never learned of this story or account. I always had the understanding that Moses, would not enter the promised land, because of his having struck the stone and speaking out of turn?
