Great video Chris, the boomerang is an incredible trainer, along with many other 40 size glow trainers from around that time, including the calamato( behind you).
Good to see you feeling better, and let's hope for a good spring and summer, I think we deserve one 😊.
    Have a good week.

I used to love the flight time using glow, many say you are missing out on landings, but then again it great to fly more than 5 mins battery time. Hope you had a good weekend and an even better week ahead. 🫡

Thanks Buddy, yup he a great and skilled pilot. No doubt we will be seeing him again this year.
Be nice if I can get the Lysander built before I do, but that might be a tall order. Have a great week to you and family. 🫡

You it gets everywhere, you really need to build a balsa sucker, it’s so nice to see the balsa get sucked away. I think I will have to make another Facebook or maybe a forum on my website, would be great to see peoples builds. Have a great balsa bashing week ahead. 🫡

Chris great to see you're able to enjoy the hangar using the Dad's RC Dust Sucker and enjoying RC again. We still have some of the eight inches of snow we got this week but our temps are heading for normal. Jeff in LA USA

I learned to fly on a Boomerang and loved it. My original one has gone out to pasture now but have just bought a new to me one as I've had a fairly lengthy break from flying and this will get me back into it nicely.
A kit built version, not the ARF and with an OS 70FS up front. Should be fun :)

I loved how this plane handled and takes my abuse from learning to fly. Had many hours with this great plane, maybe I will get another one day.
Thank you for popping by, have a great week. 👍🏻

Those old school balsa nitro trainers are really fantastic and I still feel they are the best of both worlds, stable in windy conditions not like the the next electric foam versions. Longer flight times means you get more flight time with your trainer so you learn faster. It also means you can vertually fly anything after. Flying electric then going to petrol for instance is harder IMHO. Keep building Chris and glad your feeling better 💪

She was a great plane, I might even get another one day. I really looking forward to building the Lysander next, especially with the Saito upfront. Yea been a magnet for illness since Christmas Eve, now have a tooth infection 😂. Mind you January been a wet and windy month, let’s hope we have great weather ahead. Still do not have my Facebook back, shame as I do not see what you are up to. Have a great week ahead Steve 🫡
