I've just kill not one,but two KWT with your smart method ✌️; the first one with one shot EXACTLY to the weakspot with a heavy bow with 263 damage + fury III and STILL,the result both for the tooth/leather is 89 instead of 95 which should be the max for such a kill 😭... Could be because I don't have the "master skill" of the creation skill tree? From what I've heard,the game shows you in the hunter guide the MAX possible value for every item (like 95 for Tanathors teeth/leather),but those are the numbers if you got that ability 😕...I'm wrong? What do you think? Tnx for your time and help! 😉

Do you just sit and wait in the hiding spot and it triggers the Thanator? Or is there something I’m doing wrong?
If the heartbeat don't increase,go out and let it increase and then come back to the hidden spot
I still don’t get it. I hit the borderlands Thanator directly in its weak spot and it doesn’t oneshot it

Do the thanators respawn after a period of time? I accidentally swapped to a grenade arrow and it marked my White Moss Forest Thanator as "Ruined"
Yes they do but it takes a bit of time

You either need to pass a few in game days or restart you’re saved game, so like go to the main menu and reload the save you were using
