- This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the Image Comics character "Supreme." From Ethan Crane growing up as an adopted child in a small town called Littlehaven in the U.S.A., gaining massive superpowers after being exposed to a meteorite emanating "Supremium" radiation at 5 years old, growing up with the alias "Kid Supreme" and joining the time travelling "League of Infinity" before moving to "Omega City" and assuming the name "Supreme," joining the military Allies during WW2 and the "Allied Supermen of America," spending years in deep space as an ally of the aliens called "Kalyptans," losing his memory from fighting the supervillain "Jack O'Lantern" before regaining his identity and returning to Earth as a comic book artist for Dazzle Comics, to his many adventures with friends and foes from the "Supremacy" dimension due to his rare comic book character ability to break the literary "4th Wall." Let's take a look at this Image Comics superhero, and likely the most powerful character of Image Comics, as well as, his comics being a tribute to Superman, Supergirl, Krypto, and Lex Luthor! This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic books and science fiction characters.

The mass of an entire universe. A universe is defined as a closed space of all matter and energy in existence. Perhaps their is some kind of conceivable sci fi way to escape that closed space and move the universe the same way Superman moved planets. Or they probably simply meant that he can move and or lift objects with the same mass and weight as the relative universe
He works on Silver Age Superman logic, where Superman was capable of anything the writer felt like doing.

Superman has the same level intellect as Batman and Lex Luthor except he specializes in kryptonian based science which was far more advanced than earth Supes Batman and Lex where all 10th level intellects only one smarter is Braniac a 12th level intellect, oh and under a Yellow sun Superman thinks and processes information faster than a supercomputer, people often ignore this and think just of his physical powers (Strength,Flight ,Speed,Invulnerability, Heat Vision etc..)

It's really nice to see you recovering all Image Comics characters and not just DC/Marvel, i've been Marvel Comics fan for 14 years and i'm honestly got bored that people kept talking about just DC & Marvel and they never discussed any different comic book publishers, it's nice that the most channels making videos for Hellboy, Valiant Comics, Invincible, The Walking Dead, Etc. Hopefully you could recover them if you're running out of ideas.

Alan Moore's run on Supreme is one of the best comic book runs I have ever read. It is insane how Alan Moore got me to get in this character.
Agreed,it was because of Alan Moore that I became a fan of Supreme. He's just a phenomenal writer but what he did with Supreme was nothing new as it relates to Rob Liefeld-someone who is more talented coming along and creating a better character out of a character that Liefeld CREATED.

Supreme was an okay character. Just your standard Superman ripoff. What ruined him was his constant origin rewrites. I remember reading that he got his powers from a government experiment. They kept changing him over and over until the character became ridiculous.
I agree about Supreme being an okay character and a standard Superman rip-off.I'm going to be writing my own comics in the future and I'm going to do a character who is a parody of Liefeld's Supreme(I doubt Image Comics would publish it since the entire comic is going to be essentially poking fun at Rob Liefeld's drawing style and his characters,so hopefully Dark Horse will publish it and if not,I'll publish it myself).

Supreme is probably my favorite Image character. He's Superman amped up and murder crazy. Which is what Image comics was all about. Plus his look is beast mode.

Before Alan Moore revamped the character,I'd say Supreme was HALF-crazy and delusional. After Alan Moore retconned the character,Supreme was nicer, more mentally stable,good-natured,likeable,selfless,earnest,caring and humble because Moore had made Supreme into a Superman homage(I'd been collecting Supreme comics before that point but once Moore rebooted the character,that was when I really became a true fan of Supreme).

Great fights, HORRIBLE back story, In in one of his ones, he stops airport terrorist by going full strength on them, ripping off arms, eye laser a torso in half, and throwing a terrorist like a dart into a brick wall. I was like 'Off the hook!" or 'Da' Bomb' (90's) then I read the rest of the comic, 'It's Old Clint Eastwood with super powers' scary and sad at the same time.

Who are making and developing these characters a 12 year old? I mean lift the universe really? A character like this cannot be a hero, because they are nipotent and immortal therefore they are taking no risk they are giving no sacrifice and it takes zero courage to do whatever it is they have to do. It takes no more courage fighting a powerful opponent than it does tying their shoe. There is no depth or meaning in characters like this and basically should just be ignored.

It's interesting.I did collect early issues of Supreme(mostly because I had bought into the hype and excitement of Image Comics)but Supreme became one of my favorite Image characters only AFTER Alan Moore took over the book and completely revamped and retconned the character and threw out the entire backstory that Rob Liefeld had originally created for him.

Supreme is my fav character.i loved robs version of him but it suffered from so many diff writers doing the books.he has the ability to adapt but rarely uses it as his ego is his main weakness. Depends on which Superman you are referring to. He sounds about on par with Silver Age Superman, which is the one he's based on.

Even to this day, he stands as one of best Image comics characters all thanks to Moore's legendary 90s run.

I just wrote a comic book called Alpha Omega Supemeolso. He's so OP he just sits in a chair and when something challenges him he simply just thinks them away. He also foresees future challengers and thinks them away as well. He also turns green when he gets angry, has a red cape and magic lasso.
He's also immune to copyright laws from the 4th dimension.
I was unimpressed until I read that last superpower; then I became *_terrified._*

Darkseid wins, due to his superb military strategy and power over life and death. He would bide his time, playing opponents against each other, until the time was proper to crush his foes and secure victory. Either that, or Squirrel Girl would pop in and trounce the whole lot. Could go either way, really.

did you see the fight he had with Gladiator? man was that a fight. the thing is I wasn't surprised with how strong Supreme was. what surprised me is just how good Gladiator did against him. he matched him blow for blow. it showcased just how powerful Gladiator really is. to go blow for blow with a being that is every bit (maybe even stronger) as strong as superman, tells you that Gladiator is really a being to be reckoned with. I got a whole new level of respect for Gladiator after I read that book. however, the fight was in Supreme favor. you could tell he had the edge the whole time. but Gladiator would keep coming back for more. even gaining the advantage at one point in the fight. as a matter of fact he shows clips of the fight in this video.

He's an old man and has white hair but biologically,he's in amazing health and physical shape.He doesn't age the same way ordinary human beings do.
I would compare it to how Wolverine is technically an old man.
