This would've been the best one yet it Dave wasn't being such a bitch in a bad mood from His kids podcast (bff). Tank and Eddie saved this podcast. Dave in a bad mood with his parents was sad. Once Dave turned into a better mood at the end it was hitting different.

My mother is a clone of Dave’s mom. Literally word for word, all the same gestures, all the same crazy though processes. Even things like the hat are straight out of one of my mother’s FaceTime videos. My reaction is always pretty much the same also. It’s insane how that happens to all mothers

i think eddie is the wrong person for this show. i dont know who would be the right person (maybe a different host each month since pres gets annoyed easily) but eddie is lazy and also tries to get his co-workers in dootadoos but never brings up the chicago office or himself. also he is terrible at comedic timing and pretty much all technical aspects. tommy smokes should host next, then maybe kb or nick or anyone else

Dave comes across real bad here, but I understand it a little. He would have been comfortable with just his dad, since Mr. Portnoy understand the content and is always hilarious on PMT. But I'm pretty sure Dave didn't realize his mom was going to show up too, and it's pretty clear she doesn't really understand Barstool. Very sweet lady, but asking "what are you all thankful for?' just doesn't mesh with the show. Dave's an outspoken guy, as is his dad, but his mom is the opposite, so he probably felt restricted in what he could say while she was on the line and realized the content would suffer.
Do more research Eddie... ask his parents for fun topics, weird stories, interesting facts about Dave.

I get it, you just expect this collider effect for Dave to make things interesting, it you wasted our time on this episode. You’ve got a hit podcast, would expect you to be more prepared and stop blaming the sales guys. Own the show.
