A previous version of this video was removed because the Sea of Thieves streamer that was trolled became embarrassed.
PluralShoe and I always love trolling crews in Sea of Thieves. A while ago we stole a fort of fortune and were then found by a Sea of Thieves streamer and his crew.
We stash the Athena loot. The streamer thinks we are new to the game and really dumb. Streamer hides on our ship and makes it quite obvious. We trolled the streamer and their crew for hours total.
2 - 3 days later im checking my recordings and see it was a streamer we trolled. Got to see their side of things and decided to create this video.

That was my favourite part when I was watching their vod. Chino just can't mentally grasp any other options. Dudes really believed my mate thought galleons had 4 sails in the game too.

Oh man you have no idea. It's obviously not in the video but we are laughing the entire time especially when they are hiding on the ship. I took a few bits out but we messed with them a lot there.

The egos of some of these dudes is amazing. If they lose, it absolutely in no way could be possible for them to have been outplayed. Lol.
Was seriously my favourite part when seeing their side. The fact we had no clue who they were and then finding out they claim to be the #1 reapers was just too perfect.
@@CptDonut when streamers run into other good players, that's really the best content. It's what most viewers want to see. Too often you'll see these guys roll up on newer players or those that really aren't very good. It's always going to happen but to try to strike a video and claim stream sniping with no evidence is just childish. Great content man.

I really dont understand why he thought he had the correct grounds to copyright strike the vid. Plenty of people have used streamers footage before, without permission even. And finalising that decision based on the fact that he was called a loser is pretty sad, especially considering he is in the top league for reaper in Aus. Anyway, good to see it back up
Because like a lot of streamers, man has a big ego that struggles not to collapse under it's own weight and when faced with a challenge they revert to spoiled brat mode.

No one today really cares for copyright but I’m guessing this guy was salty that he got outplayed on stream and wanted to have an excuse to take it down. Unfortunately for them, we still got to see it.

Thanks so much mate! It's just how we play the game all the time. We play for interactions with other crews, while most people play for loot I think.
Whenever anyone who claims to be number 1 at anything gets completely outplayed, their excuse is always "well they're stupid and that's how they beat me". Like alright, champ, if they're dumb and beat you then what does that make you lmfao. Keep up the content, champion
Thank you for uploading this. I had respect for those streamers, but not anymore. #1 Reaper just means #1 person with the most time to sink into a game.

The streamer was playing checkers but Cpt Donut was playing 4D chess
I actually have solo-sunk a galleon with two good balls
The first was a regular cannonball to the port quarter, which detonated a FotD’s worth of kegs.
The second was a ballast ball fired after I shot the first cannon ball, but before it had landed.
Instant sink.
Sometimes all you gotta do is board their ship and toss and couple firebombs.
You guys were so good they thought you were bad. xD You were ten steps ahead of them and they had no idea. Sick plays boys sick plays!

@@CptDonut haha I am pretty new to the game so I have been learning so much from your strats. I had a moment today where stashing would have helped so much. They mentioned items despawn. How long is that before they despawn?
@@arctr00perecho Im not actually sure of that myself. It seems to be at least an hour or 2. I have had 1 time where I came back for my loot I stashed and it had despawned.
@@CptDonut hmm interesting. Either way thanks for the info! With that, are there any tips as a beginner or things you recommend doing?
@@arctr00perecho I'm definitely no pro player or anything. But just get distance from the enemy before attempting to stash. I think burying loot could possibly be a disadvantage too because your stash map can be stolen off your ship or taken when you are sunk. If you don't bury, then there's no map to your stash.
Came up against him the otherday, no clue who he was until he started telling us to follow his twitch mid fight and then blamed himself losing on "stream sniping" right after telling us to go onto his stream. Chased dude for ages but he had no loot and we needed to sell so we turnt around and him and his chat started calling us running reapers💀🤡
I've come up against him twice now, never heard of him outside of those encounters. Don't remember the first time but remember not enjoying either experience haha.
Most recent was just a few weeks ago after we sunk a brig, they came back and we fought again, think they ended up krakened for a bit. We look over to the side of our ship and see two identical galleons sailing right for us - he was on one of them. It'd basically turned into a server alliance vs us with people finding ways into the server - Ended up being the 2 galleons (one we almost sunk as well), the brig who we were fighting earlier, and a sloop (the sloop and brig were still fighting a bit of everyone but focussing more on us, galleons definitely teaming up). Every other ship in that server was either his, or members of his community. We inevitably sunk. It was a bit demotivating since we were relatively powerless and they had an easy fight they knew they couldn't lose, even having probably 5, maybe more, people boarding our ship from different crews.
Safe to say I know what to expect in any future encounters haha
Outplayed by their stupidity. No other way around it. This is the gem for the whole video for me haha. Love it cap'n!
Still one of my favourite encounters ever in this game. Pulling peoples strings is so fun, especially when it's streamers

It's been so damn long since then
I used to be on the side of the streamers, back when i didn't know much about the game and it's community, but now i realise how toxic or egotistical 90% of sea of thieves streamers are, and have almost completely stopped watching them for anything else than decent guides

I could barely believe we convinced some players to fall for this stuff. Then when I found out later they were streamers and 'the number one reaper crew' I really couldn't believe it.
