IT JUST INSTANTLY CHANGED MY LIFE!!!
I’m now 64 and still have a chill when I hear these three guys. I have been a musician since and sure do believe that « music is love ❤️ ».

@@peterobbo7512 thank you « peterobbo ». I’m very glad to hear that other people had and still have the same feeling about this music. When I say these guys changed my life I do not try to be « lyrical » . It’s really what I lived. You must imagine how France was in the early seventies: A very nice but very old fashion country. So when I first heard this « suite Judy blue eyes » it just blew my mind and made me see the world in total different colours. Today I still work on this song full of guitar secrets that I recently learned and it’s still a tremendous joy to play their music. Thanks also to YOU TUBE thanks to whom we can today learn these secrets and also share a few words about CSN with other people at the other side of the planet.

This brings back memories of a girlfriend that I had in 1966. A terrible experience with LSD/ STP resulted in a serious psychotic episode that required frequent hospitalizations. This was not due to one 'trip,' but extensive regular use of LSD, and then STP aka DOM. We were living in San Francisco during the STP debacle (many freakouts!). Everything began to overwhelm her as the years rolled by, and her depression worsened. She finally succeeded in taking her life after many attempts in 1997. Lucy was one of the most creative, insightful and fun souls that I have ever met! You were too good for this life, my love ... RIP Lucy . You are in my heart now and forever.

Rest in peace David. I heard of his passing just now, it’s Thursday, January 19. And I immediately went to Sweet Judy blue eyes with Crosby, stills and Nash. The one song that rips my guts out to this day. And are still being ripped tonight. I actually got to see them The King Center, in Melbourne, Florida in the 2000s. It was such a joy. I remembered picking up a T-shirt of teach your children for my Pastor Stan at Redeemer Lutheran at the time. Lord have mercy they were a class act with pure intelligent lyrics, that spoke a real message. Not fluffing puffs and junk and shit. In Central Florida Thursday, January 19, 2023. Peace out teach your children. Sigh…

It just sounds so lyrical and I wondered if it was a combination of names from your family or maybe you were named from some special member a long time ago. With ‘Gail.’ You can’t go very far with that …It just is what it is. Ha ha. Thanks mom. I was supposed to be named Susan. But I didn’t look like a Susan. Huh? How? Stephin Stills on acoustic guitar ... what can one say. Crosby's continually inventive scratching out in the background is infinitely inventive. This and Bluebird when Stills was with Buffalo Springfield are 2 of the most tempo and melody changing tunes in rock n' roll history. Being 13 years old, this was entering the airwaves in the Netherlands in 1969 via the free radio Veronica broadcast outlet. Exceptional harmonies crept into the airwaves and it’s audience. Not aware that this would become defining period music, this was absorbed by a young adult in all it’s greatness. Now at 67 not equalled since.

    Lyrics:
It's getting to the point where I'm no fun anymore
    I am sorry
Sometimes it hurts so badly I must cry out loud
    I am lonely
I am yours, you are mine
    You are what you are
    You make it hard
Remember what we've said and done
    And felt about each other
    Oh, babe have mercy
Don't let the past remind us of what we are not now
    I am not dreaming
I am yours, you are mine
    You are what you are
    You make it hard
    Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Tearing yourself away from me now you are free
    And I am crying
This does not mean I don't love you
    I do, that's forever
    Yes and for always
I am yours, you are mine
    You are what you are
    You make it hard
Something inside is telling me that I've got your secret
    Are you still listening?
Fear is the lock and laughter the key to your heart
    And I love you
I am yours, you are mine
    You are what you are
    You make it hard
    And you make it hard
    And you make it hard
    And you make it hard
    Friday evening
    Sunday in the afternoon
What have you got to lose?
    Tuesday morning
Please, be gone, I'm tired of you
What have you got to lose?
Can I tell it like it is? (Help me, I'm sufferin')
    And listen to me baby
    It's my heart that's a-sufferin', it's a-dyin' (Help me, I'm dyin')
And that's what I have to lose (To lose)
    I've got an answer
    I'm going to fly away
What have I got to lose?
    Will you come see me
    Thursdays and Saturdays?
(Hey, hey, hey) What have you got to lose?
    Chestnut brown canary
    Ruby throated sparrow
Sing a song, don't be long
    Thrill me to the marrow
    Voices of the angels
    Ring around the moonlight
Asking me, said she's so free
How can you catch the sparrow?
    Lacy lilting lady
    Losing love lamenting
Change my life, make it right
    Be my lady
Qué linda, me la traie a Cuba
