This does work for type 1A btw. I have type 1A and you can make your own salt spray by just putting a bunch of salt in heated water. I specifically heat water up for 30 seconds in a microwave and put salt into water until the mixture looks supersaturated (it won’t absorb more salt). Then you can just put it in a spray bottle and spray it on your hair as shown in the video.
