NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR : Thanks for uploading that walkthough!!! Just came across this =) It is cool to see that even after all that years people still want to see and comment (good and bad) on what my brother and I have somehow put together.
It was a lot of work for us two but its nice to see it was worth while. Of course credits also go to the people that helped us including the mods (i.e. dod) that provided an input.
We tried to create a short, unique experience mod with a high quality (for that days). Hope you enjoyed it!

@@jackbluehq6653 Well a bit hard to tell but I would say we worked part time (some hours per week) on the project and after about two 1,5 years we had it all together. As you can see most of the work went into mapping and we also had other people contributing maps which we hab to adapt. Other maps came from my CS maps like de_luxor gamebanana.com/maps/158095

Levels look great, and weapons and sounds are all Day of Defeat assets, which look fantastic. But the gameplay seems pretty blah, and there should have been WAY more variety of usable weapons.

Weird mod. The visuals and level design are good, but gameplay just sucks.
Дима Травматов you cant expect much from a half life 1 mod, all the mods were limited by the games gameplay and couldn’t do much, all they could do were create custom textures, models, and maybe guns if you tried.
This would been better if you played as a german, but no let's make it generic boring american hero
Scrab21 that will have to be it’s own original game, this guy is obviously going for a Medal of Honor/Call of Duty/Wolfenstien vibe, it’s not pro America or anything, simply nostalgic.
If there is a game in a German perspective, they MUST fight the Soviets to make their fight sympathetic, because sure, Americans executed Germans at war but ALL sides do that, Soviets however TORTURE and rape their captives. Seeing that perspective will make the players root for the Germans to win against the Soviets like any generic American hero, it’s only good writing
