I deleted my instagram out of spite and honestly I'm loving it. My main friends have started a text groupchat with me and everyone else...idk, good luck. I just don't need to be over there. Life is more peaceful this way.

Girl same! I’m Von, and I’m an Artist. I’m so over social media. I took a 3 month break to get centered and focus on my art work. I started RUclips and as soon as I got back on social media, my content is the opposite of what it should be. Think I need another break to post art content on RUclips. I feel like my audience is all types of jacked up and confused 😭😭😭

Yeah fr, I'm over social media it is more than a detox at this point. I'm going to make a page for my designing and call it a day. My personal page, I post every couple months. no twitter, no fb. I'm just not with the new age business=social media .

Honestly social media is toxic. I deactivate mine since last year (it was a business/personal account) and I have never felt better. All I have is TikTok 🤣 I might reactivate it and put it on private…don’t let me start on Twitter and LinkedIn. Lovely video and can’t wait for more !! Vibe is so fireeee gurl

Loved this vlog and I can totally relate to not wanting to promote yourself or be on Instagram. I'm not sure I feel that it is needed to be successful. Some of the greatest creators that I know don't have an instagram or tik tok and are thriving. I'm not drinking the koolaid, thinking that I need an instagram to thrive. It's a useful tool to gain more visibility but it's not the end all to be all. I think that it is a limiting belief to think that you HAVE TO HAVE IT in order to be successful. PEOPLE ARE FED UP WITH IT...let's just accept it and let them lean it to that and explore other options rather than persuading them that they need it.
