I mean, the "find you" statments is something i personally wouldn't fuck with. Ive had people casually throw out my IP in party chat before. He was 100% projecting so i doubt youre in any real danger, its still better to be weary.

there is NO way anyone can get your IP through just the game itself without you ever clicking an ip grabber or some shit they sent, you either made this up for whatever reason or just fell for some sort of ipgrabber

@@jermu8706 I didn't make it up. I used to have a friend, her name was Nova, she had this group of Overwatch friends that were VERY toxic. I was only in an xbox party with them once. I was haggling one particular person for talking over everyone and generally being a dick, people went quiet (presumably because i called him out pretty abruptly), and then we went back to playing. Few minutes later he, out of nowhere, ask me "how good is *internet providers name*?" In a tone that I can only describe as "testing the waters" tone to see how I react. In the moment, I didn't realize how insane that was, promptly playing it off saying that they suck(they do). Then it sinks in. I dipped, messaged nova and block the guy that had, unprompted, said my provider by name out loud. And before you ask, I don't mean my IP address, I mean my internet provider. I never messaged him or interacted with his profile prior to that.

@@jermu8706 while I am very open about my provider, that information was never brought up. I also want to articulate what I meant about his tone. It's was the tone that a shooter might uses when flashing someone a gun. It was a threatening tone.
