So grateful for your videos! Currently going through NP school. Wish I would have found you sooner. I probably would have chosen a different school only because we don't go to the campus for skills. However, I am loving the program I am in thus far.
Hi Liz, Congratulations on your new beautiful princess! I am glad she is very healthy. God bless you and your little family! Please, whenever you get a chance do a newborn assessment on Piper! Thank you for all you do to help us succeed!
Yasss 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 thank you I have been waiting for this!!!! ❤️ I have access and love Epocrates and up to date! I have access for free but I love books so I will be purchasing some of your recommendations. I have the lab book and have just started to dip my toes in that. I will be graduating soon so hope to use your tips to help make the transition easier.
My favorite resource in clinical has been Epocrates (free version because you know, student in grad school with 2 young and always hungry children). Also, my school has the subscription to UpToDate, which I use as my EBP go-to for all the papers! I'm really liking the Current Medical Diagnosis book as well! I'm currently using the pediatric version and Bright Futures for my OB/Peds rotation this semester and both are great resources.
Hi Liz Thank you for another great video. I have the majority of the references you mentioned and even purchased you NP resources. I’ve been gathering things as I watch your videos and I can honestly say they have come in handy even listening to your favorite podcast. I think that doing a combination of different NP soap notes would be a great resource to add to your NP resources for purchase since you do such a great job simplifying things. Your students are so lucky to have you as a preceptor. Thanks again You are AWESOME my friend 🙂. Alberta
This video didn’t show up in my sub box! What the heck RUclips you know I always watch Nurse Liz’s videos!! Glad I saw it on your instagram - thanks for another helpful video!! (Update: apparently RUclips unsubscribed me! Crisis averted now but still not cool!)
It’s an awesome resource!! But crazy expensive. I don’t have it because it’s too much money. But when I was in school I could get it for free through my job! See if you can through yours!
The lab book - are the values given in SI (metric)? I'm in Canada so I want to be sure before purchasing. Wondering for example, blood glucose 5.5 mmol/l (canada) vs 100 mg/dl (usa). Loved the video!
Nurse Liz, you are definetely my morning pick-me-up
You are so sweet!
Liz
Congratulations on your acceptance! That is so exciting!
So thoughtful of you to put all this together! Thanks! :)

That’s a great video idea! Thank you!
Literally haven't even started my BNSG, but for some reason I'm still watching
😂 well I appreciate it!
My favorite resource is my multiple colored clicky pen. 🖋️👌🏾❤️
YESSS those things are awesome
lovely video and very informative. Another good resource is Family Practice guidelines by Cash and Glass as well as uptodate.
I'll check out those guidelines! Ugh how I wish up to date wasn't so expensive 😭😭😭
Thank you! I have most of these books.
Yay! That makes life super easy then!

What the heck youtube! Ugh, 😣.
The contraceptive pocket cards are no longer available on Amazon. Any know of another place to purchase or download? Thanks.
Hey Liz,
Thanks for this!! Much needed!!
Question: the lab book & dermatology book, d those also apply to pediatric labs and derm issues?
Thanks!
The lab book was adult values, but the derm book has peds stuff!
Thank you for this, it was so helpful!! I have never heard of Up to Date, would this be helpful while in NP school?
It certainly wouldn't hurt. My school's library gave us free access as students. It's been awesome for me so far 👍 I'm in an AGPCNP program.
Lady T, thank you!!
@@cherylann2271 My pleasure 😁

Nurse Liz, I will definitely look into it.
Thank you, this is great! Love the NP videos, it helps a lot!
So glad it’s been helpful!

I don't think it's in metric, but I can certainly check.
