      Because this one is made to listen to music, not necessarily play music with it.
      There's a lot of better suited Marshall amps for playing

    23:09 i like how it soun outside.
    i am thinking on Stanmore 2 or Woburn 2. I like how look stanmore 2 in house but i think i will get short in quality and loud sound waves.
    Would be nice have comparasion side by side on each.

    I really like how informative and comprehensive your reviews are. I recently purchased 2 LG PK7s due to your review (got them at 50% off each in Amazon's sale). Was considering getting the Stanmore II, but you're right. The price hike doesn't justify the gain. Happy with the PK7. Looking forward to more reviews and recommendations.

    Hello. Thank you for your detailed reviews. Please advise me on choosing between the woburn2 and stanmore2. My usage would be for indoors, around 600 square feet sized room. I am looking for sound clarity over loudness - generally play at low volume but am seeking for maximum clarity at low volumes. Any thoughts on what would work best for my requirement. Thanks.

    How do you think heavy metal would sound if it's paired with a second Stanmore II?

    • @ecologicaltime
      @ecologicaltime  4 года назад +3

      this is a decent unit and 2 would be great. Personally i wouldn't buy two of these as the price wouldn't justify the gain. I would then get a hifi that comes with two speakers already. LG have good units that sound very good with hard rock and metal. I have reviewed some. Here is a cheap LG which would give 2 x Stanmore II a run for it money: ruclips.net/video/KLwgVBSpSLg/видео.html
      Personally i dont like the look of the LG, but its an example for you.

    • @ecologicaltime
      @ecologicaltime  4 года назад +1

      yes from sound source. But you can measure volume at any distance depending on your application. If i am ina factory and want to know the SPL at the operators ear, i can put the SPL meter at the person even though the sound source is 10 meters away. But i am aware of the standard on SPL measurements.

    I doubt very much that a company would make such an item in which it would blow it's own speakers.

    • @ecologicaltime
      @ecologicaltime  4 года назад

      yes they do. Some input signals are low and the power amp is tuned to provide high gain to allow you to still get decent outputted sound. have you never played a song on your cellphone and it was too loud and it distorted? Well same thing. Its up to the end user to moderate the output volume so the speakers do not distort and blow.
