None of them play instruments for their own music but several of them do play different instruments. As they're a K-Pop group their focus is on vocals, dance, and performance. They have a group of producers they've worked with since debut though several of the members have writing & production credits. I've not done an official count but around 30 - 40% of their discography has been touched by at least one of the members either through writing and producing or in the case of Sua, the main dancer, doing choreography for a few songs.

JiU is the oldest one (she turned 30 this year); she's the leader of the group, when it comes to positions, we officially have that she's a lead vocalist and lead dancer as well and the visual of the group (it is said that the company didn't know who to name the official visual so they technically don't have one but she stepped up to fill the position); she's known for making corny, as well as bad dad jokes (she's the one with purple hair in this video). SuA is the second oldest (she also turned 30 this year); she's the main dancer, lead rapper and according to the official wiki she's a sub-vocalist, but in InSomnia hearts and eyes, she is a lead vocal since she has really great vocals too; she's known for being very energetic and very loud (she's the one that made the high kick in the choreo of this video). Siyeon just turned 29, she's the main vocalist, and we usually call her Wolfie, because her representing animal is a wolf, and because of her powerful vocals (in this video, she's the black haired girl that sang in all the choruses and the bridge). Handong is the only foreigner member (she's Chinese), she's 28 and she wasn't in this video because at the time, she returned to China to participate in a show called Youth with you, and then Covid exploded and she was stuck in china for a bit. She's considered a sub-vocalist, although her singing has improved a lot over the years so we consider she should be upgraded at least to just vocalist, without the sub. Yoohyeon (27 years) is also lead vocalist and lead dancer; she's often considered by many fans as the visual as well and for what I've seen, she's hugely praised by her looks by many of the fans. She's known for being a little clumsy and constantly losing her phone. Fans call her "puppy". (She's the blonde girl in this video). Dami (also 27) is the main rapper and she's also a lead dancer; she is known for her really good rapping abilities, for her deep voice and her stage presence (it's like she transforms as soon as it's show time). Gahyun is the maknae (which is how the Koreans call the youngest member), she's 25 and she's also, officially, considered a sub vocalist, although her singing has improved a lot too, she's also a lead rapper; as well as SuA, she's known for being very loud sometimes. 5 of them (JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Yoohyeon and Dami) debuted back in 2014 with the name MINX. But after the debut, and one comeback, they didn't get enough traction and they considered the project to be a failure, so MINX disappeared. However the company (Happy face) decided to keep investing in the girls, added two more (Handong and Gahyun) and they redebuted in 2017 with the name of DREAMCATCHER and a completely different concept, utilizing rock as their main root genre mixing it with many others. (Currently they are under Dreamcatcher company which, as far as I know is a subsidiary of Happy face).
