I am the worship pastor at my church. I act as the music director in Sunday service and have multiple worship leaders that rotate through the schedule. I greatly appreciate your videos.
What he said about a producer having a better understanding of where the lead singer wants to go and what other musicians are doing at all times....Thats very true. LOL
I'm a part time paid worship leader, my full time job doesn't allow alot of extra time so having a part time paid worship director Is critical. Another insight I didn't hear mentioned is that you have someone you can talk shop with, handle issues with, hold each other accountable, stuff u wouldn't want to bother your volunteers with.
Hi Jake i live is a conteny town. I am a one person tech and I would like to hear your talk about how to get started on a relationship with me and the music groups

Hey what is the opening song you use?
It's called "Some King of Magic 2" by Niklas Gustavsson licensed at epidemicsound.com
Does a MD have to sing?
Nope, we have keys and drums md's in shifts, supporting the worship team and worship leader.
“Pushing off” responsibility to someone doesn’t sound like good advice. All of the other suggestions seem reasonable.
