The resemblance to Julian in the photo is amazing. Interesting interview - thank you!

Thought it was Julian in the picture at first. Here they look so much the same.

Julian doesn’t have Johns nose, literally the only difference.

I’ve got The Beatles: Let It Be documentary and I must say I’ve always found John Lennon interesting and an amazing musician and mind! Lennon/McCartney are the best songwriters ever! RIP John Lennon ❤

He did more in his short life than most of us do in an entire lifetime

Sounds like a great interview and thanks for uploading. A shame KMET-FM found it necessary to put music to it ALL. My brain exploded at about 9 mins with the A Day in The Life orchestration build up on repeat.

Background music annoying but some great wisdom within this interview. Artists certainly are reflections and not luxurious assets to society ;)

Came here from LA Times obit on "Last DJ" Ladd which mentioned this piece. For more intimate, relaxed John Lennon talks (and no commercials) with Tom Donahue and Scoop Nisker in '69 and '74 on KSAN in San Francisco---these two can be heard (via QR Codes!) in the book THE JIVE 95: An Oral History of America's First Underground FM Station, KSAN San Francisco. Checkitout!

Important quote from Lennon about good and evil going on all the time and getting a margin over the other

The music playing the background is so damn annoying. It’s a distraction.

Jim Ladd,, your quintessential L.A. Liberal. He never saw a problem that couldn't be solved by more liberal social policies.
