Congrats for knowing your dream this early in life. I only found out that I want to become a doctor when I was in 10th grade kaya nahirapan ako ng sobransa pag aapply sa magagandang senior high schools. Anyways, good luck!

Dok, I am second year med student and I really feel like the pandemic is taking a toll on me, especially my drive to study. It really is difficult. Thank you for inspiring me to not give up. ❤️
Before I started watching your videos, I have already given up my dream to become a doctor. I always hesitate to ask my parents if they can still support me in pursuing medicine. I used to work as a medtech in a hospital but I didn't see myself doing it long term. Thankfully, I saw your yt channel which motivated me to overcome my hesitations and fears. Looking back, I was constantly repeating my what ifs in my head. You are a blessing to this platform who changed my life. Now, I am a junior clerk in Cebu and I couldn't be more happy knowing that I'm so close in reaching my dreams. I hope you can inspire more people to follow their dream.

I applied to work in the US, but you know what seeing all the newly passed MD's and this video made me remember my first and greatest dream and that is to become a doctor. I am still hopeful that one day , I can still do it. Pursue it. 😭.Thanks doc, tanggap lang ng tanggap
Road to Doctor Mike Collab! That's a well-written and impressive personal statement, Doc Aura! Personally, hindi pa ako nakakapag decide sa residency program na gusto kong kunin but what you said about family medicine makes so much sense, and sadly, true about the status in the Philippines. I hope for a future video, you can discuss what are the "entry points" on an IMG to the US (residency, fellowship, etc...)
That was an excellent personal statement Doc! It shows much of yourself you've dedicated to doing what youblove and what you believe is important, and I'm sure a lot of people appreciate what you do. I wish you luck on your residency and excited to see more content from you!!

Heaven knows that the world needs many more family and specialist physicians. I hope you achieve working for the Mayo Clinic someday. Recommend the google "Minnesota Project Korea". The Minnesota Project lasted from 1955 to 1961 which helped rebuild Korea. The best and the brightest Koreans were selected to attend the University of Minnesota to train doctors and nurses to go back and teach others. The medical students had to learn English and were achieved knowledge and practice in conducting open-heart and other difficult surgeries. The Project also provided machines and special medical instruments. I wish the Federal government would provide the funding for similar projects in the Philippines and other countries. Hi Dr Aura, thank you for sharing your inspiring Personal Statement. I'm a junior doctor from a country with universal health coverage. With a heavily private healthcare system in the US, it is personally challenging for me to see myself practicing in a location where money is a significant factor as to whether a person has access or would want to access health services. Has this situation emerged in your residency thus far? Was choosing a place like the UK/Australia/Canada with their universal healthcare and more affordable (sometimes free) services a consideration you made in your journey? Please note that I mean no offense, I would love to hear your perspective.

Thank you doc 💕💕💕
