    Mike the inventor asked Mr to share your video. I was crying and begging him to build me one asap. I have a literal ton of ceramic chips and need this mill! Thanks for the review, I was thinking it would be just what I needed, when I saw that quartz get turned into powder I was sold! Keeps the vids coming.

    Just purchased one and can't wait until it arrives. Thanks for the video so I know how to use it on my sample rocks that I have been collecting.

    I saw 1 video of a homemade one and made my own, has a 6.5" diameter circle, just used metak flat bar rolled and welded in a circle, a chute welded from 2" angle iron, 1" hardwood boards (for now) for the front and back panel and a short length of chain for the flail. Its insane😂 it takes 2-3 seconds to turn whole rock ore into powder, about 90% of it with a small amount of 1/16" or smaller chunks left. 5 seconds and it will legitimately turn it to flour completely. Its great. So much better than the manual one id made before it. Only weighs about 2 lbs plus the angle grinder

    Thank you for the honest review! I'm glad to see it worked well for you in processing that ore. Per your feedback, the grizzly can accept rocks up to 1-1/2", but it's always better to classify your material to 1" or smaller, mainly to extend the life of your grinder. Also, the original version I make has the built in "anti-kickback" lid at the top of the feed tube, which greatly reduces the chance of any debris bouncing out while feeding the mill. You have the "open tube" version which comes with a removable lid that helps keep most of the dust contained. You ran it perfectly by pulsing, great job! I also never thought of emptying it like you did, so thumbs up for that as well. Great video! Liked and subbed!

      How many of these do you build at one time

    • @southernoregonprospector9074
      @southernoregonprospector9074 Год назад +1

      @@ralphmcculley2085 I've been building 20 a month, with a month off here and there, but I just switched to a new method of "It'll be ready 30 days after purchase". I'm hoping this will help smooth out the build process per month, instead of having to complete such a large quantity at once.

    I got lucky hunting for a sampling mill, when the Mighty Mill came up in the ebay search results, and was already down to just two units still available.

    finding gold isn't the point of the demo, the mill worked a treat regardless of the result, great video

    I don't do such a thing like rock sampling , but i would definitely use this Tool to grind my burned IC- Chips whit it , it seems to me that its more useful then a kitchen Blender for the same purpose !

      Adding water to the kitchen blender helps.

      Can one use a kitchen blender to pulverise small rocks or sands?

      unfortunately not...Your blender can be destroyed by rocks within seconds.@@wisdommzingaye4987

    Very useful tool, I hope to see it in the field soon!
    Are you stockpiling all your tailings (or just the sulfides) for reprocessing?

    • @omegageek64
      @omegageek64  2 года назад +2

      I'm only saving sulfides, and then only when I see some trace of free-mill gold in the rocks they came from. I have tried smelting a lot of sulfides that didn't show any gold, and have nothing to show for it.

    I went to the Mighty Mills web site but I could not find the price of the mill itself. Maybe I just missed it?

    • @omegageek64
      @omegageek64  2 года назад

      The price is $375. He is out of stock right now. People need to place their orders as soon as he is announces he's making a new batch. They sell out immediately.

      @@omegageek64 I hope you don't mind, but I just left a comment letting everyone know that I'll have more mills available soon. Great, honest review that I really appreciate! Thank you, I also liked and subbed...looks like you have *lots* of great content for me to checkout!

    Very interesting review on the Mighty Mill. How long do you think the shackles used to crush will last? I subbed. Thanks for sharing. 😎😎⛏⛏🔥🔥

      @omegageek64  Год назад

      Herd to say how long they will last. I bought a spare set for when they finally do break. I'll be giving it a good workout this summer crushing ore from old mines. We'll see how it does.
