Hi Folks, I hope you enjoyed the episode. If possible, I would love to know what you thought of the VX220 driving impressions segment in this video? Did you find it entertaining it or did you find it a tad dull? We weren’t sure whether it was suitable for the series as it’s much slower paced content compared to everything else, however we also realised it would be a shame to not mention how the car is to drive throughout the entire series. Your feedback would be hugely appreciated. Thanks all!
I hope you guys have more road trips planned for the channel. This series is brilliant and scratches that itch us history and travel loving petrolheads have for the old Top Gear. I'm not suggesting that you are copying them, you have a style that's innovative and completely your own. The similarity is in the spirit of the show. A couple of people who care about cars and each other going on an adventure. Brilliant.
I wouldn’t try and change gear mid corner though 😊 I agree though! I find my leg hitting the base of the gear shifter, I could imagine after a number of right turns it could be sore!!
Great series, amazed with your videos so far :) only thing is why dont we see you driving it? EDIT: Also that passenger footwell box might be hazard if you keep your legs in front crash
Thanks, Filip, I'm really pleased you're enjoying the videos. Throughout the trip I did get to enjoy driving the car however because I'm very familiar with filming and using the camera, I often chose to ride shotgun and capture footage whilst Richard did much of the driving. Regarding the footwell box, you make a very good point, I believe it does slide out easily however having a big lump of loose metal in the footwell would not be ideal in a front impact.
I dont give a fuck about my country, and i never even thought about scotland, but like, your videos are so good, even with my pea brain attention span, i get interested

First I heard about ‘acceleration from 30-70/80’ for NC500, then I heard as ‘as soon as you reach 120mph’...
