Specs and Biases:
6'3", 180-90 lbs, size 11.5 boot, 23.5" stance. +18 -6 angles (usually.) Generally riding as fast and hard as possible in natural terrain. Big, long, high speed turns. Powder, chunder, groomers, and natural airs. If a board is really surfy, I can be persuaded to slow down and spend some time slashing around. Not spending much time in the park.
Music by Cloudkicker. Check him out; he's rad.

I just picked one up. 6’1”, 200lbs, size 11.5 boots. I’m right in the middle of the recommended specs. Can’t wait to ride it in Japan! I like hearing casual & cruisy, that’s how I ride. I’m mostly a wave rider so this will be fun
You’ll love it.
@@Drift-Products That's the plan! It'll supplement my Elevated Goldfish which I already rode & love. Thank you for your honest review on it. I've been locked into wanting this board for a year, but I'm sending your review to friends to convince them to get one too.
Dang that profile looks a lot like a Burton Show Stopper.
Ya. Much wider than anything Burton offers though.
Regarding that easy roll edge to edge, I am wondering if he added a couple degrees of bevel to the base of the Egg as well. I believe my old Goldfish had that bevel in the nose. Smooth board switching edge to edge.
@@thetube4p good question. I’ll have to check.
I am looking at a surfy board for next season, was think of the Dart, which was your preference, the elevated egg of the Dart. I am actually a surfer so the shapes of these two boards are very familiar.
The elevated has a much more surfy feel. I like them both, they’re just different.
I have an old red tailed hawk from back when they were called soul motion, and the real bugbear that elevated boards suffer from is that their extreme width creates a situation that when the snow gets tracked (in powder) or push piled, it becomes a tough board to ride.
@@Phos9 yep, the salmon was amazing but as soon as the snow wasn’t perfect it was way too wide for me.
first!
someone had to do it!
Wtf it’s a Chinese-made board, but their logo has a “shaka.” Wth!
@@Anukulous ya, a little silly for sure but a lot of great boards come out of gp87.
