I had such a strong visceral reaction the first time I heard this song that I had to pause it as I genuinely thought I was going to vomit (sorry for the TMI, lol) I've never had any piece of any kind of art so accurately describe what goes on in my head after 30+ years of chronic illness & pain.
I totally understand what you're saying Turk but you definitely deserve praise, you've quickly become many people's favourite reaction channel.

We all have "imposter syndrome". I've been sitting on 20 years of music and terrified to release it even though people seem to like it. Many reactors of Ren are also starting to release their tracks because they feel inspired that they can get exposure online and are comfortable.

Thank you for reacting to this incredible song. It is always in my top 3 favorite Ren songs and it affects me in a very personal way. It is so beautifully produced and is gut wrenching for anyone afflicted with self hatred and shame. Especially for those of us who hide it well. People actually believe I’m an extrovert and funny and friendly but in reality I’m playing a role that I believe will please others. Inside I know the real me. Very dark place inside. I always cry when I listen to this alone. The first time I heard it, it gutted me and I was certain Ren wrote it for me. lol.
You are worth being happy yourself and I can tell you after years of depression and blackness I feel happy again - thanks to an empathic therapist and my near ones, who I thought couldn´t offer me anything more but who I now appreciate so much again

When the struggle at times seems endless with no light at the end of the tunnel it’s easy to let ourselves slip into a dark place. It’s a battle within yourself just to keep picking yourself up and dusting yourself off to push your way forward. We have to remind ourselves that giving up is not an option. Thank you Turk for reacting to this song.

One of my absolute favourite Ren songs! Clever lyrics, a bit of a rock vibe in parts, and the contrast between the singing and the raw rapping - especially from the negative voice. So many things going on but Ren as usual finds a way to make it all work together in perfect harmony and balance. Fricking genius 😂

I suggest going back to an early track of Ren's called "do you believe." It's incredibly touching and one of his best works in my opinion. It would be cool if he did a sequel to it.
One of his best tracks imho, hit me well good on my first listen & still does.

Hi I totally get why this song hits you like it does as it does myself as well you said you are uneasy with compliments as am I however please except this ty for doing what you do im also alone and depressed but your channel and others and ren makes us all in this situation feel not so alone, Ren is relatable to most of us but I find reactors like yourself are as well so ty❣️🇩🇴
hello dear!! thank you for doing this reaction. it's my personal experience that with chronic sick/crazy, life has always been about the drugs. it still is. for 50 yrs, the majority of the required drugs that let me somewhat function mental & physically were prescribed by drs. i think a majority of substance abuse is just people like me trying to medicate and fix a life that is really broken. don't have the good drugs anymore, smoking my brains out. kathleen 🙃

Impostor syndrome seems to be very, very prevalent in the music industry.I know when I get off a stage after seeing and listen to the PlayBack.I hear every single mistake and not the ninety nine percent that aren't wrong

Dude[1] - just gave Snog a listen. I like it. Have you ever heard "The The"? Snog gave me vibes of them (him actually). "Armageddon days are here again" would probably reasonate with "Hey christian god". "This is the day" will definately hit. "The violence of truth"... Hell, the entirety of "mind bomb" is worth listening too. Way under-rated.
[1] Not sure if calling you by your "last name" is appropriate, but damned if I'm gonna call you "Old" - especially as you are way younger than I (BTW, get offa my lawn!)
