A couple of things you forgot to mention: - The DSR 50, arguably the most infamous nerf in COD history. This one resulted in David Vondahar getting death threats. - The Grau 5.56 in Warzone. This weapon was so precise that it outclassed the snipers. - Sniping in general for BO1. Treyarch didn’t want to make quickscoping a viable strategy in that game.
I expected the Vesper from BO3 to be on here, it had little to no recoil, once Treyarch nerfed the thing to the ground, it was completely useless due to the ridiculous recoil. It took Treyarch many patches and tweaks to get it back to a usable status, but it never returned to its former glory.
It didn't really affect me that much tbh. I was still able to go off with it after the nerf, you just had to learn how to use it. Most people opted to just start using the ballista instead.

The mw3 striker nerf was technically just a bug fix, the extended mags increased pellet count to 9, it gets classed as a nerf because when the fixed the bug the usas and ksg kept the increased pellet count as their base pellet count and the spas 12 lost pellet count but got a slight base damage buff
You need to revisit this series man. The dg56 burst rifle from mwiii on launch was so overpowered they had to nerf it like 2 days into the game. Thing one bursted at any range without fail
the PDW57 was never a low recoil low damage weapon. it was always a high recoil weapon, the nerf just made the recoil pull up more. that is it. the damage remained the same and it is still a good gun
may I remind you the amount of death threats vondy had in 2013 for ruining the DSR?? easily the biggest cod nerf in history and the least deserved. Literally was nothing wrong with the gun at all.

It sucked at launch, but then it got buffed way too much, got nerfed again, got buffed again, and got nerfed one last time.
I hated that they gutted the AMAX. That rifle was a BOSS in its initial form. 😢😢😢
