The form, gesture and use of space to shape the sound reminds me of my years at NEC. Tamara is an awesome presence. The sound is evidence. Performance of the Verdi Requiem in the early 1990's in Jordan Hall continues to reside deep in all of us. Thanks Tamara for being a part of the journey. Best, John - NEC 1995

billing's music can inspire many interpretations. this one is a slow, pensive telling of the david story. very moving, but not in the traditional way. i would use twice as much bass for a concert performance!
