I clicked on the first video from this series, not intending to see the entire series, but now I am watching the 5th video already.
You are doing a great job explaining Linux Mint interface and features.
I am going to install Mint on my new computer and give it a shot.
It seems really clean, secure, intuitive and fair OS.
Keep doing a great job! I love your videos.

Did it work out with your new computer? Sometimes I've heard warnings that if you install it on a brand-new computer, linux isn't always up to date with it.

@@thomasbeaver6931 Clearly you now nothing because even I know that. Manufacturers don't have linux as a priority a d there are often problems with drivers and some hardware when a computer first his the market 🤦

These are very helpful videos and still very relevant today. I'm getting ready to re purpose 3 old Windows 7 machines and learn the Linux OS. I had an issue with my old Toshiba laptop. When I trusted the update manager to go ahead and install all the updates it had listed, upon rebooting I got a black screen and it wouldn't change. I then reinstalled the OS and only updated Firefox and some codecs and it worked fine. It seems update manager loaded over 500 mb of stuff that may have been already installed and were redundant. That's the only buggy thing I've discovered so far. Thanks for these great tutorials, and for sharing your experience and knowledge.
