- TSM has always been one of the most dominant teams in Apex. Especially early in the games life span, when TSM was the first team to win championships back to back to back. But after multiple meta shifts and roster changes, the IGL for TSM ImperialHal, was struggling to adapt. But while TSM was struggling, another team began to take over. Dark Zero.

Teq has really good eyes when it comes to finding really good players for a teammate, Koyful recently is an example. Unfortunately, teq himself doesn't seem to match skill-wise with the teammates he chose. His teammates deserve better than him really 💀

It’s the same as a lineman bruh. They don’t ever get any of the credit, and that’s not what they are there for. They are there to show up and do a job while the receivers and quarterback get all the praise. If a team isn’t doing well, the quarterback takes all the flak. If they are doing well, the quarterback gets all the credit. It’s a double edge sword. I’m not saying reps isn’t good, I’m just saying that Hal has been the ceo for like 3+ years now and he’s been relevant for all of them. Has never been overrated and has always been worth the hype. He’s constantly time and time again rises to the occasion and is always getting better.

You're talking about two different skillsets entirely.
Dizzy, Mande, Aceu, Timmy etc....they are the greatest anchors, have insane reactions/aim/movement and excel in fast-twitch scenarios.
Hal, Zer0, Noct' etc..these are the leaders, they understand macro better than any other players and are able to focus on small details during the biggest moments.
Every type of player is important to creating a championship team, you need your anchor, leader and fragger. Zero would never win without Gen'. Hal would never win without Jord/Alb/Snipe/Verhulst.
You guys are debating two completely different skillsets. All the mentioned players are amongst the best for almost entirely different reasons.

Adding raven was perfection. Having a third party to mediate disagreements and give a higher level/outside perspective is essential at the highest level. Raven does it very well and can stand up to Hal. I think that may be where dz is hurting right now, zeroes ego is unchecked. I think they have a coach/analyst but he’s not mediating disagreements the way raven does.

If DZ win that's case closed on whos the best amd CEO of modern apex, yet hal will retain always being the OG goat and the OG CEO and goat. Tbh its how I see things going, always someone better that takes over after a few years but the goat kept the esport alive long enough for it to happen amd deserves that respect also, but currently zero even now has a contest for modern CEO with out winning champs but only due to past respect, if he wins champs like I stated it's over. I just don't think everyone shoykd shit on hal and destroy his moral when it happens he helped keep apex as a whole relevant as an export along with reps, I wanna state REPS is super under rated and deserves the acknowledgement of the best support player to ever do it.

Anyways great video especially for me who is somewhat new but has obviously heard of these 2 before.
Apex at an unprofessional level is boring to watch and play but the professional level has strategy and skill with a bit of luck that no other game has where the lack of bug fixes doesn’t matter when you feel the energy of the game
I have the same argument as some is having.
The LANs that TSM had won with Albralelei; most of those were invitational & not every region did get to participate on those.
There were only 4 LANs which were held between all the regions + by ALGS and DZ won 3 of them.
So, if you're talking about the value, Zero is ahead by a lot.
Man has almost same amount of winning money as Hal but just from 4 tournaments.
But Hal will remain as the most consistent IGL in Apex & he is still among the top 3 IGLs in the game.
Poland lan 2019 was across all regions. X games was the only lan that was mainly na and eu

Poland LAN was pretty much the same thing as ALGS LANs, the best teams from all over the World competed for a big prize money, Zer0's team included and they placed 67th. To take away TSM Early LAN wins is arbitrary and pick choosing. What about all the ALGS Regional Finals, Pro League and such, GLL tournaments, etc that TSM won? There is more to the game than just LAN tournaments...

Those playoffs were basically for a singular region + wasn’t LAN. Even Scarz & KNG won the Championship (not playoff) but those weren’t LAN + organized for a singular region.
TSM won those early tournaments & that's why they're still the biggest name in Apex + have a huge fan base.
There was only one ALGS Championship LAN which was held between all the regions and DZ won that. There were 3 playoffs for LAN and DZ won 2 of those, TSM won 1.

Love the commentary, would recommend something to boost the audio quality (new mic, some acoustic treatment, etc.) If your narration is a major part of your videos, it needs to have strong audio.

I feel like other regions don't realize how unbelievably condensed and skilled the top % of players are in aus in shooters/battle royales, just because the region is small, every game you're playing against very good players there are fewer noobs than any region.

Depends how you classify it because TSM has like 60 total first places in tourneys but DZ has 3 of the 4 most recent ALGS-sanctioned tourneys. In terms of just LANS I think TSM has around 6 or 7 and DZ 3.

Match point format has much more "luck" involved than the group stages. I think TSM showed a lot of dominance throughout the tournament and are the best team right now because of that. But a win is a win, and that makes the conversation a bit less objective. Congrats to DZ tho.

DZ got 1st in 1 of the 3 stages of the tournament (that happens to be the most important one) but were 4th in group stage and 8th in bracket. Tsm were 1st, 2nd, and 2nd.
I don't think it is disrespectful. They won, congratulations, they were the best team in the finals, and they deserved the win. But they were not the best team in the overall tournament.

Even on this lan, look at the stats, the most points achieved by any team: TSM, the second and third players with most kills... you guessed it, TSM.
What I can easily say is that they are the best team in MP format, but definitely not the best team overall.

Every lan win dark zero has (except for there 2nd one) has been won by luck. The first lan they won, they should’ve been dead but optic threw hard and focus LG for some stupid reason. And the LAN they just won was BS because every team was quick to grief TSM but somehow DZ stay center ring and lives through zones 5 and 6. Even though there was 8 teams alive to grief. I am not saying Hal is better than Zero, or the other way around, but let’s just make some things clear. Zero has 3 ALGS LANs, Hal has barely 2 (the Poland one isn’t at the same level). Second, the casters were saying sth along the lines of TSM and DZ back and forth, that didn’t happen. DZ won 2 back to back, TSM won 1, then DZ won the next one, if TSM wins the next one, we get a back and forth, otherwise currently we have a DZ dominance with TSM taking 1 away from them. And Yes, Hal leads in earnings, but that includes Twitch Rivals and all those other content creator tourneys that Zero didn’t partake in because either he was in APAC or not invited, due to his lack of popularity. Now I don’t know who is the better player, what I know is that Zero leads in actual LAN wins.
