These knives are a must have for food prep and slicing.#ulu #warivo #foodprep www.amazon.com/WARIVO-KNIFE-H... Damascus www.amazon.com/WARIVO-KNIFE-D...
The Ulu holds the age record as being the oldest example of a knife recorded. The Inuit of Akaka and Canada use them and hold competitions for processing salmon at Inuit local events. There are different design differences between areas and Inuit cultures. Most of the Ulu knives used for processing salmon use thin blades and use an edge with a single one side beveled edge or chisel grind. This makes the the cutting-edge slice cleanly in two directions by turning the blade. There made in all sizes and materials from small to large.🤔🔪
Fun fact: many authentic antique ulu knives are made from meteoric iron from a very specific meteor. Mostly b/c it was their only source of metal up there for a long time.
This is possibly the MOST Universal knife you can ever get your hands on either for survival, food, camping, ect. And till this day I still can't believe I've never heard of these.
The ulu works great as a bushcraft blade in extreme cold if, like me, you wear mittens instead of gloves. It slides over your knuckles allowing you to also use your hands without setting the knife down. Pretty handy item, you just have to get use to it.
Love my Ulu knife. There are not many RUclips videos that show how to properly sharpen it. Any chance you can share a video showing how you sharpen yours? Thank you for your content!
I like the look of the Damascus steel one. Also they are great knives for cleaning fish. I have purchased one, its bigger then those two, but I've not really used it yet. I might have to get the Damascus steel one. After Christmas :)
I have one made by hibben thats the same shape as your Damascus one but i ground down the pointy part at the botton to where it looks kinda like a sheephead pattern, i did this because I ended up accidentally stabbing my knee twice with the point lol
FINALLY I can settle for the less expensive part of your review and just go buy some CUCUMBERS!!😂😂....I love them as well, vinegar and salt baby!!..great review as always my brother!
Good morning brother! Check out King Arthur, 2004 with Clive Owen. One of his men Bors, played by Ray Winsome uses two uly-style weapons as his primary. You can see a few of his scenes on RUclips where he wields these weapons with astonishing efficiency and effectiveness. What are your thoughts on the Warivo knives' durability?

My wife uses an ULU in the kitchen for spices, salad stuff, etc. The boys use it as a pizza cutter… surprisingly, it works great!

Great tip!
Made it to my wish list. Thanks for the review!

Two beauties ❤ I’d love to have all these replicas from the Viking times and up to today’s standards on my kitchen wall😎
It's a SERIOUS close quarters self defense weapon.

Warivo is your big supporter 😊
They are 👍 I’ve been sent blades from them, Eafengrow, Shivworks, Tops and many others but they have sent the most I think

Indeed
Been using an ulu in my kitchen for decades.
So, everyone forgot Chronicles of Riddick and Pitch Black? The "swing blade" or Ulak is basically this, but with teeth on top.
Thanks for sharing brother God Bless have a great week
God bless you bro! You do the same🙂
