Are you planning for BAAS then you can buy anytime with Vidyutech, however, if you're planning to purchase, wait until they give life time warranty for battery (Comet and ZS EV now gets life time warranty on purchase as well)

With the new update if you daily drive is 1km to 250 km.(daily ka) than nexon LR(~320-350kms of irl range) is the obvious option.....Baki jindagi mai tension nehi chahiye tow go for Curvv 55(380-420 km irl range)
Always go for higher battery variant if your budget allows it ...less stress for many years

EV evolution is still new its not your or Tatas fault. Going forward range will drastically increase due to latest technology and cost of production will also go down and customer will pay less.

Doesnt matter if the are increasing battery size untill ang unless they change the battery. Cylindrical batteries are less reliable than prismatic cells that is used in Long range Curvv.

Windsor is still the best option....
We should talk about actual range
The Nexon is still based on the old petrol-diesel X1 platform of the old indica Vista , and because of that the rear seat is very uncomfortable. You sit in a knees-up position and headroom is poor.
The WIndsor is a full size bigger. Based on a proper born-EV native platform it is very spacious inside. Nexon cannot match it on comfort and space. None of the Tata EVs runs on a native EV platform and it is visible in the space utilisation inside the car.
Many people have run Windsor for 290-310km in eco+ mode at 80kmph. Windsor EV is also made with 'desh ka loha' as the steel to make MG cars is supplied by JSW. And just look at the fit and finish, materials used and panel gaps - it is far superior to Nexon EV.
The Nexon LR will need to be much cheaper than the Windsor to sell well. Tata Motors has been overcharging for their EVs even after the battery prices dropped dramatically. Even at a cheaper price, it is risk to buy it with all the history of electrical faults and poor support from the company. It sold well when there was no competition. With aggressive competition in the market, it will struggle. Let a couple of more EV makers enter the market in a big way and the price competition will force EV prices to become same as petrol car prices next year.
