- My suspicions were confirmed and the oil leak was indeed a failed head gasket. Watch along as we go through the process of replacing the head gasket on this Perkins A3.152 diesel engine.

We have a kubota b7100 and the gasket went when we fired it up after fitting the new gasket we had some leaks in desperation we bought some steel seal liquid that you add to the coolant it cured the problem and after several years of running it has not lost any coolant so we are were very pleased that we did not have to strip it all down again
Yes that fix in the bottle actually does work sometimes. My other tractor had a slight crack in the cylinder wall down low and I used K-Seal and that has been sealed up for 6 years now. The leak on the massy was different it was leaking oil externally. The coolant and oil remained separate.
@@thedelcodave thanks for your reply on those copper gaskets do you fit them dry I have seen some videos when they use gasket cement as well

The grey is called Nason ful-cryl acrylic enamel paint clad ds100
would you not need to set the pistons to the Top
Is the fuel tank painted grey or red if it's in factory condition?
I have a (full) license built one which has a red one.
And what tires are on the rear?
I painted the tank grey at the same time the rest of the engine was painted. The tank should be red but when the hood is on you cant see it anyway. I have 2 videos on painting the tractor check them out. The rear tires are BKT TR-135.
@@thedelcodave any chance you know it's dimensions? Where i live the 35 (IMT 533 and 539) are the most common tractors, but unlike in the us nobody seems to swap the rear tires for wider ones.

Thankyou. I bought it as a personal challenge to try my hand at tractor repair and restoration. One day I hope to have land of my own to use the tractor for small farming chores.

What kind of paint have you used?
The Grey paint is an automotive single stage paint with hardener. The red is automotive base coat clear coat. Nasons brand paint. There are paint videos in the playlist if you are interested.
