They do indeed feautre automated announcements; today I caught one from West Dulwich to Victoria - can't remember the unit number... They are the same as the one's used on the Class 376s.

i got one home from waterloo east-kidbrooke,opington-waterloo east and lewisham-hither green they all had the announcements
