I literally only came back to video because I was checking Yelan's voiceline and knew she was referring to this video. I also didn't realise the first time I watched this back in 1.1 was the fact they have in the description about the Pyro Agent who was with him and how he was admonished by Sandrone (the 7th Harbinger).

I think I can help explain that.
Anyway, it must be a side effect from falling into the abyss. In there, he must've lost pieces of his humanity/soul/something relating to life itself, himself, and his own sanity. Entering the abyss could explain why he's become so bloodthirsty and eventually, why he's working with the 'shady, bad, dangerous, and have I mentioned, the bloody, bloody, unsanitary' Fatui organization as well.

Childe is actually so chill. I can't begin to imagine how other Harbinger would react if agent working under them would overlook Sigil of Permission.
I swear, Genshin Impacts English VA is always on point. It's not overly acted or bland, just the right amount of tone and emotions. It's for gacha games since most would eventually go to Japanese VA.
I feel the same way. Sometimes it's more so the English language that makes me frustrated with eng dubs, but the voice acting in this game is, for the most part, really well done

I use the Japanese VA but the English VA here is stellar. Reminds me of Cloud's English voice.
The English voice actor for Childe here is Griffin Burns, although he didn’t voice Cloud, he voiced Doppio in JoJo for exemple.

I know this shows his hidden side compared to the game thus far, but I can’t help but believe Childe might be one of the hidden good guys. Maybe he has his own agenda compared to the Harbingers and Fatui, maybe he’s wanting to see what we as the Traveller can do, or maybe he just wants to see havoc run free. So much in the air about this guy and I love it!
So... The owner of Yanshang Teahouse had an Adepti Sigil. Childe discovered that somehow and stole it. And give it to the Traveler after that? He wants to reunite the Adepti to kill them all? Tbh, the story is getting better and better everytime!
Maybe not kill them all, but more like how signora is after venti's power back in mondstat.
I think Childe is after Geo archon's dead beast body because he thinks he can find a "Gnosis" thingie like Venti's. Childe probably thinks he can do this alone except he's on Liyue's watch 24/7 because of Ningguang and Qixing's work. Then the traveler comes by looking for the Geo archon, which is perfect opportunity for Childe to ride along the tide for his own mission. That's why I think Childe gives the Sigil of Permission to the traveller and introduces Zhongli to the traveller. All for the purpose of acting normal under Liyue's watch while the traveler does everything for Childe.

@@arnowisp6244 That is one of the mysteries I still haven't solved yet. Like how important the Gnosis is to the each archon. Obviously taking it away doesn't take the archon's life so Venti or Geo Archon can just let other people grab it. If it is really important, then Geo Archon will probably have ways to protect it.
