Currently even without gnosis both Zhongli and Venti are still capable of manipulating their own respective elements to some degree because of their mastery over it (alot like the traveler where they can basically just manipulate elements directly) but neither no longer have the power to do insane feats they used to be capable of like Venti being capable of literally reshaping a continent or Zhongli singlehandedly capable of bringing down the water god on his own(or creating Mora)

Aight, not gonna lie, I shed a single tear when he bought the hairpins and sought out to return them to the owner WITH additional living expenses with it. Keeping in mind that he is a consultant for a funeral parlor, and that the wife of the man who pawned said hairpins is poor in health, well, it’s self explanatory. Mihoyo certainly pays close attention to detail in stories like this, I’ll give them that.
theres also another bit of story when you talk to the security working in front of the bank in Liyue(the one on second floor or something).. to put it simply there are two security working on a different shift. I forgot but you can meet the guy/girl when they are not working on the Liyue harbor, talking about each other. Love it.

I know you're making a joke, but in case anyone misses it, mora is explicitly stated to be a medium for transformation. For transmutation. It's highly likely that any mora we use to upgrade weapons and ascend characters and the like vanishes as part of the process. Hence the impending economical crisis in Teyvat now that the Geo Archon is gone, since Rex Lapis produced literally all of it.

The Qixing and Adepti hated each other's guts but they worked together in the end, and that was what he wanted to see before retiring.
