For your information, our Philippine Constitution expressly stated that no person shall be deprived of liberty without due process of law nor shall be denied the equal protection of the laws. In case person needs a Lawyer to defend himself, he or she must choose a competent Lawyer if cannot afford it, the Court will appoint a PAO. Lastly, the prosectution shall have the burden of proof regarding the guilt of the accused. It is the strength of the prosecution to prove the guilt not the weakness of the defense. Hence, a Lawyer is not a lier.
