No matter the game or series Takehito Koyasu always does a fantastic job. Just the fact that we can tell if It's part 1 Dio, DIO from part 3 or Diego with only his voice is already super impressive and shows how talented he is.
Even with the Diegos, you can tell there's a difference between the two. AU Diego doesn't shout often, if at all, compared to Diego. AU also sounds calmer overall and it makes him feel more tactical and methodical compared to Diego's straight- to-the-point attitude. This Dude was able to capture four versions of one character and make all of them sound distinct enough to stand out. Major props to him oml.
Yeah, at first I didn't even realize it was the same voice actor. Although the different Dios' voices sound similar, it feels like you can hear the difference in maturity and age from one Dio to the other.
@@thatbluegametp2 I mean realistically he will, right? He's become such an iconic part of JJBA that the community would see it as an absolute crime if they changed him for another VA :')
The performance for Diego from Takehito Koyasu really nails my love for the guy. I love how different he sounds from the original Dio despite being an essentially the same character
"I'm going to teach you the meaning of the word 'retire'!" being written as the translation for Diego's intro in Eyes of Heaven is crazy. They just wrote an entirely different sentence from what he actually says. ASBR translated right- which I appreciate. I personally dislike when subtitles are rewritten into something else because they think it flows better rather than just translating the actual spoken words. And I don't mean that it should be transliterated; I know that it wouldn't be readable that way, but it can still be written to resemble what's being spoken. What Diego actually says btw: ザワールド!俺だけの時間だぜ! Zawārudo! Ore dake no jikanda ze! "The World! It's time just for me!"
His intro in Eyes of Heaven is not like that at all. Like Amarion brought up, he is actually saying that, the video creator messed up the auDIO though.
Its not stopped yet. Its just for show, effect. Look at Johnny’s legs on right, he isn’t stopped either, he is about to be stopped, same goes for Silver Bullet. This is all just for effect, The World shouldn’t work that way. Time doesn’t get slowed down before it stops, it stops abruptly.
Diego Brando best quotes: SCARY MONSTERS! MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA! USHAAAA! DIE! WRRYYYY! The one who was victorious was...me! Alternate universe Diego: ZA WARUDO, STOP TIME! Za warudo, its my time now!
Possible hot take, especially since I haven't read part 7 yet, but I hope Diego has a different VA when the Part 7 anime does come out. Takehito Koyasu is great and all but Diego is functionally a different person from part 1/3 Dio.
Dio's presence across both continuities makes sense for him to have same VA's. Johnny is a totally different person from Jonathan. Meanwhile Diego is just a DIO with a different backstory
the fact takehito voice over 4 versions of dio and they felt like different person is super impressive
3. Dio Brando and DIO are the same person. So OG Dio, Diego, and AU Diego with The World.
@@Tabulatelk15no DIO is dio brando and jonathan joestar combined
@@kewpiesensei no he means thr voice atcter i think

True!
He is a legendary voice actor!!

I really hope he sticks around for Steal Ball Run

Takehito went above and beyond with his performance as DIO and Diego!
I guess you can say his impressions are over heaven
I Prefer the ASBR Version. The Voice Sounds much Younger and Smoother than Eye's Of Heavens Version.
What do you expect? EOH came out like 10 years ago
What do you expect lmao
wait for EoHR and then compare VA's :D
@@pshekchik Imagine waiting for EoHR

1:23 my fav
Some subtitles doesnt match cuz I use some edit
at first i didnt like asbr diego gha but icl it grew on me
It's a nice reference but I get it it's little slow

Because thats not what he says in the Eyes of heaven intro, the creator of the video put his timestop audio over it for some reason
Okay yea I booted EOH back up just to make sure, I uploaded a short video of what he actually says
His intro in Eyes of Heaven is not like that at all. Like Amarion brought up, he is actually saying that, the video creator messed up the auDIO though.
I like the older “ it’s me time now”
The anime is on its way boys
0:56 How did the horse move in the time stop?

canonically he picks up his horse and moves it himself during stopped time
Koyasu's voice for a teenager is insane lmao
Tbh, the old one sounds a bit out of character while the new one sounds like a literal Jockey Tryhard
Looks like the only ability that is new is his Great Heat Attack in ASBR .

EOH is better, but ASBR sounds fresh (new kind of)
Diego casually bullying crippled guy

Every time bro says the world it feels so damn satisfying
I know this a hot take but i like the skinny version of Za World more than Dios Za World
Where my voice yamero!!!wryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy eah!!!!

Once u do I think u might change your mind, these are just alt universe counterparts after all.

Eyes of heaven remastered pls
There's just something about his ultimate in all star battle r that does not make me like it...
Why? It's taken from the part when he tries to shoot Johnny.
I think his GHA It's too fast in some moments and too slow in others. It feels weird..
Eoh vocals are much better
Ps2 graphics
The PS2 wishes it could do that.
Fr the graphics are so ass if not the same
@rightangle4748 Actually, it did have cel-shaded games. But not that detailed.
Just compare the jojo ps2 games to this games and you will notice a huge difference
Remember when people play games for the gameplay then jerking off of graphics
