Minecraft Skyblock lets play series in 1.18. Today in skyblock we went into the nether and built an Unlimitedly spawning pigman grinder which turn out incredibly well! It made for a insanely good gold farm as well as an xp farm

I just discovered your skyblock videos today, and was entertained while I was at work. A quick note, you can make infinite water with only 1 water source block. Just bonemeal the dirt the water is flowing over and down into, and it will spawn seaweed. Destroy the seaweed and you have a water source block. After that, you can place it in the usual 2x2 formation for infinite water. You didn't need to go to one of the outer islands for an extra water source.
Watching your panic as the ghasts came after you made me chuckle, but was also a reminder of why I always roof over any and all farms with lower half slabs. Nothing spawns on top, and the height limit created by the roof makes it impossible for ghasts or endermen to spawn. I do this in the overworld too, no need to put lights all over the top of my mob spawner if I have lower half slabs on top of it. Also, as a side note, you don't need much light to keep mobs from spawning anymore. 1.18 made it so hostile mobs only spawn when block light from torches, lanterns, lava, etc. is zero. As such, you only needed a few torches to stop the spawns. In fact, torches placed every 12 blocks should be sufficient.
