You are a lifesaver! Thank you for taking the time to create this video !!
Hey man, I just wanted to thank you for making these videos. You helped someone who did nothing but spark plugs and oil changes do a transmission replacement. The car is on the road and shifts smooth as butter. Longest part was finding a decent transmission for a decent price. Managed to find one for $675 with 160k miles on it. So lets hope to get another 100k out of her, and perhaps avoiding Jiffy Lube will make the thing last a bit longer this time. Still got a few kinks to sort out, such as the gear shifter sort of "Gliding" into place and not clicking like it should. But other than that, every bolt and nut seems to have found a home.
Watched the removal video and this. I really appreciate you making this video. I feel confident in replacing the transmission in my 03 Civic now and will use both videos step by step.
Man, thanks so much! I'm going to be replacing the trans in my daughter's 01 LX very soon and this is exactly what I needed. Thanks again!
Just dropped the transmission in my son's 2003 Civic EX thanks to your video. Thanks!!✌️
I got my tranny out yesterday and now installing it tomorrow. Thank you for these videos there a life saver
The face you made after saying, “We’ll pick it up tomorrow “ 😂 Great job, and thank you for the video!
Great video, super easy to understand. Thank you!
Well explained, step by step. Thaks for sharing your videos. They are very help full..
Good video 👍, greetings from Australia!
great detailed video!!! watched it several times. It is much appreciated. thanks !!!
Thanks for the tips!! Like the car lift too!!
I took out my trans and installed it.. the fact you show what bolt it is and where it goes is so fucking helpful I did it off ciderblocks on the side of the road while watching 4 kids under 7 one being less then a year old
Good video greetings from Greece 🇬🇷
Good thing I found this video cause I’m in the middle of installing my transmission
Awesome videos. Thank you for all of your help. Supposedly there is an internal filter for these that can be changed while the transmission is out of the car but not easily accessible. Have you ever found the filter and is it something you would recommend changing prior to installing? Mine is throwing the P0741 and P0300 codes so bought a used transmission and getting ready to install in a few days. Thanks again.
I just followed these guides and they were great. What isn’t great is that my replacement is worse than the one I had to start with. Now I’ve got to do it again! D17 autos are junk!
K really cannot express how grateful I am for this video and for the removal one.
Thanks such a good video
Your video/tutorial are excellent! Thank you very much for your time you put into making these videos. I follow your removal video to the tee and it definitely made the job easier. I do have one question prior to the install. When I placed the torque converter onto the shaft and seated it into position the back of the torque converter touches/strikes the back of the housing roughly round the 4 o'clock position about the size of a dime area - hand spinning. Is this something to be concern about or will it go away once the torque converter is attached to the flex plate for correct spacing? Thank you for any input you can provide.
