Fine jewelry boxes are not the same as luxury bag boxes that takes up a lot of space. I get what you meant about the environment. My friends who resell their fine jewelry pieces without the full set will get less and harder to sell if you don’t have the full set. So be smart guys don’t be fool by the eco packaging. Fine jewelry needs to have the fine packaging so you can pass down to love ones it’s meaningful.

Mixing metals is the best - my wedding ring is platinum and I wear a gold LOVE bracelet and a stainless/gold Rolex. Do what you want and what you love! All VCA items will come in the new pouch packaging but they still have a lot of the old in stock. 10 and 20 motif necklaces have the same design since it was essentially always a pouch. If you’re lucky you’ll get the old. The online boutique has changed to all new in my experience but I’m in the EU
Love mixing metals. I would stack all 3! That’s my goal eventually. I’m just starting to be open to the idea of mixing in rose gold. Don’t have anything yet but I do mix white and yellow right now. I kinda wish Cartiers rose gold was more rose though, as I feel like over time (from what I’ve seen on videos) it turns more yellow rather than rose
lol but the problem comes if I ever decide to part with an item! if there's packaging the next buyer would want it! I am stuck in the packaging nightmare until we all refuse it together! haha
If they dump the fancy packaging, I won’t buy. Period. We’ve gotten a lesson in what the insane markups are in lux since this was posted, and I’m not paying big bucks when I can get more and possibly better for less.
