They're usually heavier than this and (I could be wrong about the timeframe) but I think Matt Heafy, the lead singer, was in the process of healing his vocal chords after blowing them out a year or so before recording this album. So his sound is even more incredible that he was able to sing like this. Let's get those 500 likes!!!!

Yeah this was when Matt was fixing his singing voice and I’m my opinion I am impressed by how much he has gotten better.
