- I love mecha. And hot anime characters. And Hiroyuki Sawano. So it comes as no surprise that I would one day cave and finally get into the infamous Call of Booty game hehe~
I went in completely blind reacting to the Nikke: Goddess of Victory Trailer for the very first time as a new player and already the vibes were hitting some of my favorite anime themes! My excitement has definitely skyrocketed for this game!!!

I'm still lowkey (high key) so upset I've gone this long not knowing how amazing the NIKKE OST is. Every day I discover a new song that makes me upset all over again LOL.
Most of Nikke's music is done by Cosmograph who has his own RUclips channel and i swear the guy never misses.... 100% bangers every time.
Lewdness aside, if you like vocals Nikke genuinely has one of the best soundtracks and is currently #1 in the gacha department for me. Since launch every 3 weeks at least 1 new song is put out, and almost all of them are total slam dunks. It also surprised a ton of people but the story is also downright fantastic and both the plot and PLOT is why the game is still so popular when most NSFW-ish games fail and die very quickly.
If anything, I hope you do a lot of reactions to the nikke OST and I think you'll have a ton of fun :D
also to kinda answer around 6:05 the guns nikke use are stated to be much heavier ordinance then what a normal human could typically handle. Normal human weapons do exist, but have next to no effectiveness on the enemy so it's implied that even what looks to be something as small as a 9 mill pistol gun designed for a nikke is firing much heavier ordinance. The obvious answer though is fan service, but nikke are also by design limitations made to look and for the most part feel like normal humans, so a safe assumption logically is that more kinetic energy per bullet equals more recoil equals more jiggle.
Oooh, this makes a lot of sense actually! I didn’t even consider that they would be a lot more heavy duty than regular guns even if they look the same 🧐
The music is consistently phenomenal. And surprisingly the story is nothing to scoff at, either. If you decide to jump in, then hang on tight. Because once the ride starts, it doesn't stop.
Check out the title theme, "The Goddess Falls", and understand that it perfectly encapsulates the story and underlying themes.
Yea the music is fantastic. We're about 200+ tracks in and it's still good. Notable tracks include "shopperholic", "artificial Shangri-la", the newly released "costumes", the harvester theme, "dark matter", and so on. Just mind heavy plot spoilers in the comments
You should also listen to A.C.P.U! Freeze, In Neverland, Metal Strike, Dark Matter, and Afterglow. Their music department is not afraid to compose different varieties of music. So dope for a gacha game 😁

"Nike" is also trademarked so there's also a reason as to why they couldn't use the name. Instead they just avoided it by adding that extra K.
nikke is one of those games that suffers from the initial glance assumption, yeah it's fan service and it wears it on its sleeve, but man the music, game play and even the story are so much more once you get past that initial first glance. I recommend giving it a shot for sure, 2 year anniversary is around the corner too so perfect time to start up and get all the anni celebration goodies.
oh a new commander huh? well now is a good time because you get a free costume and in about 2 months is anniversary so your gonna get alot of goodies if you stick around
