The billboard advertisement that Acheron sees in her trailer definitely isn't the actual ad. They released that video separately; it's just an in-universe makeup ad with Robin wearing a wig. The ad triggers some kind of memory in Acheron ("...I've seen her before..."), and she sees something different (the voice lines are different: "Find me. Your end. My origin."). When the trailer came out Acheron was still very mysterious; it makes a bit more sense in hindsight. The trailer is also a reference to several movies, including Bladerunner. Probably my favorite trailer.
Hadn't thought about a wig. I'd assumed Robin's hair was dyed at one point and the ad was subtly implying her neck-wings couldn't be, as well as that she'd tried out "looks" other than her current one. Wig works, though.
Oh yes! I learned about the makeup ad shortly after watching her video - but I hadn't realized the movie references tidbit!! I'll definitely have to rewatch with that in mind
@@vidianott When the car drives by Acheron, check her reflection. Neat detail showing she's still not out of the illusion, similar to the concept of "second awakening" (when you dream that you've woken up, but things are off, such as reflections). Bladerunner's "tears in rain" monologue is probably the biggest reference.
@@DanaOtken Could be dyed,or something else; I assumed wig b/c usually performers don't usually change their appearance fully for a commercials, like they sometimes do for movies, TV, or concert tours. You can see her head wings in the "real" ad: ruclips.net/video/rvMxhJds3Ow/видео.htmlsi=dXEx5UNgMqIwc3M_
@@ubermenschen01 That's what I meant as well; I just took the hint in the opposite direction assuming the ad capitalized on the look Robin was using at the time it was made, and we were being shown this because it wouldn't really fit in her later trailer due to the audio focus. Her wings are visible in Acheron's trailer as well, though more briefly. Not sure whether in-universe the clearly deliberate choice implies dye or wig, just that its audience is supposed to recognize Robin. (Hypothesis: Given what we now know about Robin's professional career, she might actually have at one point made an album inspired by the stories of Acheron's home; if the ad came about from that, the resemblance wouldn't even be an accident.)
Not sure if anybody has ever told you, but Black Swan's VA is also well known for voicing Blake Belladonna from the series RWBY. So, if you ever want to hear her in her first voice acting role ever might be cool to check that series out. She seems to have a knack for landing roles involving bisexual animal themed characters. xD
Correct! Instead of just uploading full VODs, I am going through them and editing out all the fun bits for easier viewing. 😊 Robin and Boothill will most likely get their own videos since they are in separate VODs (as soon as I hunt them down!) 🙇♀
Just to let you know 2.3 is out in a little more then a week and we should be getting another trailer around then.

i love sparkle so much ,shes my fav since the leaks 1 year ago lmao
and she got the best trailer no doubt
14:56 its pretty insane how close you are with that
The CN version of the Sparkle trailer slaps hard. Hands down for VA.
I assume this was recorded awhile back, since Boothill and Robin are missing?

@@vidianott fair enough. I prefer videos over live streams and VODs so this is great for me.
basically Sparkle is just a menace that does anything to entertain herself lol
Could you also react to the myrad Celestia trailers? (They are like story trailers) also love your videos nice work keep going
Ahh, thank you so much!! And yes! I am slowly getting through all of the Star Rail videos - the quality and storytelling in them is so engaging!
Sparkle is the goat
The only video that matters in HSR "Rondo across countless kalpas". I hope you will watch it soon) Its the best video HSR ever done
Meow Meow
Actually sparkle is known for being the best trailer in the entire game lol she's slap
Her trailer is easily probably one of my favorite trailers thus far (it's honestly super hard to pick though haha)
