Been using my maruti 800 for 16 years. Even drove it once from Bangalore to Hyderabad when the radiator fan was not connected to the battery. Suzuki engines are more reliable than any other car brand in India.

The cost difference between ZXI and ZXI+ which also has cruise control, larger display and a better sound system is only 60,000. So the ZXI variant and the VXI (O) is the worst option. If you do not want cruise control, the best option is the VXI for 7.29 lakh. But good quality rear camera can be easily installed in an aftermarket shop for 10k.

This is not good choice…. Sub 4 metre suv like nexon , 3X0, these are value for money ( base model)
Insurance and running cost higher are for the Nexon and 3Xo. Also with Maruti, if you know a good mechanic, you can easily buy genuine spare parts and keep costs down. Have 16 year old Maruti 800 which I service by myself. Get clutch plate, flywheel, brake pads, air filter and spark plugs very easily from Maruti accessory shops.

TATA is a car full of gimmicks not features. They will offer digital display, surround view cameras, sunroof, etc. But after 10 years, all these electronic items will not work. All these are are done to hide the poor engine performance and other cost cutting measures. All the parts like digital display and cameras are sourced from China in bulk at cheap rates and car brands advertise them as luxury or high end features.
Tata has very least resale value
