I originally edited this video to the Demi L. version, but youtube took it down so now I'm using this cover... which is amazing and fits Loki EVEN better. :)
The lyrics really convey how Loki's shutting the door to the past and "cutting loose" as Tom Hiddleston has mentioned, esp. in "Avengers." The idea that he "knows who he is and he's having a good time." However misguided that is. Also, a bit of a lead-into Thor 2.

I clicked on the video thinking I'd have a laugh, but holy shit, it actually made me cry. I never realised how similar Anna and Elsa's story is with Thor and Loki's.

This is brilliant!!! I thought of Loki as soon as I heard the song. There are so many parallels. Basically the whole Avengers was about him letting it go. And he always "conceals" his true emotions. And of course the ice references fit with him being a frost giant. I like the quick fitting pace of this video (must be a lot of work to fit all those shots together). It deserves more views!
Thanks so so much! :) I agree... his story pre-Thor 2 is basically "Let it Go"... and if you'll notice, "Let it Go" is a positive song but can also have a dangerous side. Isolation and fear continue to rage, and he isn't letting anyone "in"... so at that point that is why Loki makes huge mistakes. He is mad, scared, and stressed. At least he's not trying to pretend anymore... but it's not good yet!

This is So beautiful! I love Frozen, but I don't usually like all the ridiculous crossovers. They're cheesy or trying too hard, but this is Amazing! I love Loki and I think this version of the song gives so much more depth and seriousness than videos that use the original. Great job with the editing too. :)

I would be lying if I said this video didn't make me cry. It waz amazing and it somehow made my sister like Loki. It fits him so well and makes everything he did (while still questionable) justifiable. To sum it it up, amazing.

Dude gets some of the words wrong in the song but... whatever... its suppose to be "here I stand and here I'll stay". DarthxErik I saw Thor 2 before I watched The Avengers or Thor and ever since the scene where there's a bunch of fighting out of his cell and Loki is just reading I was like "I like him!". Then I watched the other two movies and I liked him even better even though part of me is like: wait, you shouldn't like him. He is the bad guy and destroyed half on NY and killed hundreds of people. =)
But, yeah, Thor's really awesome too. I think he is my favourite superhero. After Loki, of course. After all "every villan is a hero in his own mind." (Tom Hiddleston)

exactly. I saw "Thor" but didn't like Loki immediately. I only started liking him after "Avengers" although now the "Thor" portrayal I really appreciate b/c of Loki's tragic downfall. You can really analyze the guy and feel very sorry for him! Yes, he does very bad things. In Thor 2, though, you can see he regrets it especially with those he loved. He's one of my favorite characters of all time. In a way, we're all like Loki. Wanting significance. I hope he can continue to be redeemed and find reconciliation with his father and brother. I want it so bad it almost hurts! :)
Also, Loki's actions have no excuse. He is tragically misguided. But you can understand his reasoning. His villainy is borne out of lots of misunderstanding and heartache. He really needs a hug! XD
