WOaH. “How Far I’ll Go” was perfect for Loki when he was sailing that boat! And “You’re Welcome” was also perfect with those scenes of Loki when he meets Jane and when he’s sitting in the throne! Excellent editing. It actually looked like Loki was saying, “You’re welcome” at the end!
Loki is often miss understood and Thor also stay silent in front of their farther......the rage and fury smouldering in his heart made him go against his brother 💝 This indeed shows the love between the two
Oh man. Where to begin? Well, I cannot give you my answer blow-by-blow (I could probably write a 20-page essay!) but instead I'll give you a few notes to think about when watching each film: Thor 1: -Make sure to hunt down the deleted scenes on youtube, or watch them on the blu-ray, especially the pre-coronation scene with Thor and Loki, the "Extended Rah Rah Scene" and when Loki is made king with Frigga in the royal chambers. These deleted scenes shine a whole new light on the dynamic Thor and Loki shared before everything fell apart, and also shows how Loki did not anticipate becoming king and is genuinely surprised by this turn of events. -Remember that Loki may lie with his mouth, but he hardly ever lies with his eyes. You can read on his face whenever he's telling the truth. Just listen to what he's conveying emotionally, because oftentimes he's ACTUALLY telling the truth, if you'll hear it. Avengers: -Between "Thor" and "Avengers," Loki was found by THANOS after he fell from Asgard, and spent a hellish year in which we know very little of what he experienced. Based on what we can piece together, however, we know a few things... 1) He was likely employed by Thanos against his will, since Tom Hiddleston in some older interviews likens Loki's experience with the Chitauri to "being a prisoner of war." 2) He was likely tortured by Thanos, since in Guardians of the Galaxy it is blatantly stated that Thanos did awful things to his own daughters--it's also heavily implied in Avengers that Loki fears Thanos in this way. And 3) The scepter that he wields was given to him by Thanos, as soon as he was ready to lead the army. Loki doesn't seem to know exactly what it does. He is NOT manipulating the Avengers from afar--it is affecting HIM as much as it affects THEM when they're in proximity with it. The scepter, as I understand it, aggravates and spurs someone's violent and dark tendencies according to Thanos' purpose. Its power is still a mystery, since it is later used in Age of Ultron for different functions, but I believe its power was not under Loki's direct control. In fact many theorize that Loki was slightly mind-controlled by Thanos until he was hulk-smashed, and could snap out of it. Thor 2: The film's ending was altered in post-production. So when they first filmed the movie, Loki was set to DIE for REAL (if he came back to life, it was going to be done in a separate movie) and in this way complete a redemptive arc. He STILL maintains a very beautiful arc up till the point that he dies, and in my mind everything makes sense if you view it as Loki's ultimate descent/wake-up call. His mother's death really hits him hard, and when his illusion comes crumbling down we see him for who he really is. I encourage you to watch some interviews with Tom Hiddleston when he was promoting The Dark World, and you'll see Tom summarize some of the ways that Loki is not entirely a villain. He IS misguided and DOES mess up...a lot. But don't we all? He is an extreme case. But I think there's something very human and sympathetic about his brokenness. I think he's headed up. Let me know your thoughts. And I guess this DID end up being somewhat of a mini essay. :P ~DarthxErik
DarthxErik I love all of your work. You may not put as much content as other youtubers but you are my favorite out of all of them. I couldn't agree more with your viewpoint on Loki.
Esther Frayling for years and for most of my vids I use Sony Vegas Platinum (2008) for Windows. Very lately I have made-do with my Mac's imovie (this video). But I use Premiere Pro professionally at work, and will eventually upgrade to that.

Ohana means family. No one gets left behind. Or forgotten.
