I once pretended I was a werewolf and I actually slashed my friends arm and blood started coming out (I didnt mean for it to go to that extent) and I cringe so hard everytime I think about it lol

I remember learning when I was twelve that this kid in my class held a grudge towards me since we were six years old. Apparently, me and this other girl were pretending to be cats (he did a whiny impression of my cat noises when recalling the event. It made an impact.) and he said that cats were stupid or something so I told the lunch monitor that he called us stupid and he got detention. So like yeah, turns out I was a tattletale.
But TO BE FAIR, while I don't remember that specific story as it happened (I just remember that this kid held a grudge over me for six years, maybe even still has one. What's another nine.), I do remember that the lunch monitors never did shit when they witnessed actual bullying or if you told them about actual bullying. The fact that he got in trouble surprises me like maybe there was a different monitor that day. That girl he said I was with was Chinese and I remember kids would call her names, pretend to speak in Chinese at her, and stick their pinkies up bc they said it was the Chinese middle finger. And the lunch monitor didn't do shit. I remember the girl saying, "they're just doing that instead of the middle finger because they know they won't get in trouble." But like, the lady witnessed them pulling at their eyes and making obnoxious sounds clearly meant to mimic Chinese, I don't think she can pretend she doesn't know what they were doing. Those kids would also follow us around at recess and when we told the monitor they were chasing us she said "they can't chase you if you stop running." Like okay. Thanks. Not like they consistently harassed us or anything.
That was meant to be cringe about my self and the kid who was still mad at me from first grade, but then I was like WAITAMINUTE. And decided to justify my behavior from 2004. And call out an anonymous lunch monitor who doesn't even work anymore. The end.
On a lighter note one year my gym class had us record activities we did outside on a piece of paper every day, to like, encourage us to go outside. And one day I put down that I collected nuts for squirrels for two hours. Because I did. But like, now I made my P.E. teacher bear witness to that.

that's my favourite story
For the second half of elementary/primary school, me and about 4 other friends pretended to be supernatural beings. Me and this other girl were mother and daughter were wolf-bloods, one girl was the ultimated powerful being, and another girl was a vampire. We had a huge backstory that would add on and we taught each other powers, like wind control. We would follow the wind blowing leaves in circles with our eyes.
I got dragged into a group like this in 3rd grade, and the bossy leader girl made us eat snow at recess

I used to do that around this big tree at my school. Our lives and ‘powers’ were connected to the tree. I remember my powers were like ice or water or something.

One of the cringiest things that I’ve ever done was in 5th grade - I was really into wearing cheap plastic watches, and I had just gotten one that displayed the time both in analog and digitally (so of course I thought this was the coolest thing ever). So on the way to lunch one day my teacher casually asks me for the time. I then ask him if he wanted the time in analog or digital... completely unaware of the fact that the time is the exact same for either answer (I was just excited about my watch).
The look of confusion and judgement on his face is something I’ll never forget 🤧

@@iseleylaura honestly most of the stories PJ told in this video wouldn't be cringey enough to stay on my radar for my most embarrassing moments. I was an awkward child. Sometimes I'll just be doing my thing and suddenly gasp as if I've been lightly stabbed because I'm remembering something really stupid I did as a kid. But I think the main factor into whether something is cringey is like, the reaction and/or how you felt at the time. Also most of my "cringe memories" are like, when I think I've made other people feel uncomfortable or something. Otherwise it's a bit easier to shrug it off or laugh about it.
Honestly, that question would make a hilarious deliberate troll response.

Since everyone's telling cringey stories here.. when I was idk maybe 14 years old I was _really_ into this guy in my class and when I say really I mean that I started writing a diary just so I could gush in it about all the things I liked about him and I wrote in it every. day. for. at least. one. whole. year. I figured out where he lived one day through a friend who lived across the street. His birthday was coming up and I decided to do something special and uhh.. mysterious (cuz I was an *incredibly* shy and selfconcious blob). I didn't live in the same town but another close friend of mine who I visit frequently did, so when I was in town anyway, I dropped off a box in front of his doorstep, adressed to him (printed out and not written in my handwriting cause I'm not an idiot). In it was nothing but a small figure of a panda (that was the nickname I gave him, idk how aware he was of that) and a note that said 'Happy Birthday'. At the time I found the thought of an anonymous gift super romantic and secretly hoped hoped he would find out it was me and then.. honestly I don't know what I was hoping to get from that. Almost nothing was hinting that it was me who did that cause I was too afraid to find out what he would say _if_ he ever found out it was me and he never mentioned that box afterward.
So yeah, I was so shy that I'd rather drop a mysterious box in front of my crush's house than engange in a normal conversation.

Not gonna lie, if I had been in your health class when you responded with "Hi Gene!", that alone would have been enough for me to immediately want to go out with you. To this day, I'm still a sucker for a guy who can make me laugh.

I thought I invented the word "earnest." Except I initially spelled it like the name. I didn't know the name or word existed and also my definition was more of just, an exclamation. You say it when you're frustrated, end of list. Mostly just like any degree of frustration. My best friend and I dragged it and made it into the basis of our club of two that we wrote songs for. For her birthday this year I paid someone on Fiverr to write a jingle based on "earnest" and the limited information I gave him. Honestly it's a jam.
When I was like 4 our something my family went to a tea party at my grandma’s retirement home. I was basically fully potty trained but y’know I was still new at it so when my 8 year old sister took me to the restroom I started a little too early. My mom forgot to bring extra undies so we just removed the messed one and were ordered not to speak of it. When we returned to the table however I stood up on the chair, shouted “dada look!” - as I thought my father should be informed of the situation at hand - and promptly flashed a reception sized room of elderly folk. The end
that shit happened to me yesterday, only i let some kid go outside cause i thought he wanted to play with the dogs. yeah next thing i know his pants are around his ankles and im hiding from everyone

I remember back in 3rd grade I was head over heels for this girl in my class, my best friend even. She told me once she hated the color pink and her favorite color was green. Me, being insanely in love with her, lied and agreed that pink was the worst color and blue was my favorite. I kept up this lie for 7 years. I LIED about my favorite color for SEVEN YEARS. I had all my pink clothes thrown out, painted my bedroom blue, did everything in my power to make everyone believe my favorite color was blue, for no reason. It took me until my softmore year of highschool to realize it was okay to like the color pink and there was no reason to force myself to like blue.

One of my earliest memories is me in nursery playing by myself and pretending to be a kangaroo. I don't think I had any friends, but then again I don't think little me ever tried to make them so oh well
So the cringest thing I did was when one of my friends before me made internet and said there was a way to become a werewolf with a very cult like ritual (ah the 2000’s postions online) with four people. So we did it at school, at the back of the school during winter when it was over cast. Now mind you, I did this with some of the local kids/friends I had and I knew it already didn’t work which made us all upset, but I had an idea. Now since I was a child I can’t wear coats as it make me over heat a lot, but of course my mom knowing more about me then myself always put a hat on me, scarf, two jackets, boots, and many other warm things. Plus it helped I watched a lot of old horror movies about monsters. My idea? Act like I was becoming a werewolf and take off all those layers to pretend that I went full on beast. So at school we did the thing, and I did my plan. I began to pant and growl before it took off all my layers and howled. Many of my friends were amazed and touched me feeling my skin was hot and “furry”. So I said that because I was a werewolf I needed food, and they were confused and I said human flesh. They screamed and ran away as I chased them until one of them made it back to the front of the school which then I had to grab everything and put it back on and come out like nothing happened. They told a teacher who looked at me as I walked over calmly and screamed at me asking me what I was doing. I said we were playing a game and they got scared. They all looked at me confused as the teacher said not to play the game again and my friends walked up to me and asked if the ritual worked. I asked them, what ritual and walked off as the whistle was blown. From then on for a full year I was a werewolf and then over the summer we forgot about it.

when I was five a vet talked to our class about how you aren’t supposed to feed birds bread because they forget how to find their own food. One of my most cringe memories is me, at a picnic, running over to two people probably in their THIRTIES and yelling at them not to feed the ducks. I was five, and shy, and as soon as my brain caught up with my mouth, I panicked, ran away, and hid. My parents still laugh about it.

Last summer, I was out on a market with my father and stepmother and there was a lot of people around. When I was going around by myself looking at stuff, a bunch of boys walked towards me. One of the boys was riding a bike, and took out his hand to give me a high five. Dumb as I was, I reached out to give him one back but when I tried, he took away his hand and took it through is hair (as you do..). All of them laughed at me and continued to walk away. Please remember, there was a lot of people around and I'm sure many of them noticed and probably laughed too. I thought about that moment for weeks and it really haunted me. Thinking back now, it was kind of funny but at the time? Oh boy, I was dying inside. I hope that the group of boys has forgotten about it, as well as the other people around us.
That’s such a good example of something that everybody would 100% have forgotten a few days after they did it, but it haunts the poor anxious bean they did it to for years ahahaha I can guarantee they’d have done it to tonnes of people, and nobody but them would have found it particularly funny 😋 it happens every so often to everyone

When I was a kid, instead of running around during recess, I would sit on a bench and read. The teachers hated this, and would make me walk around the playground. BUT. I was still allowed to read. That is how I earned the nickname ‘ball-magnet’ because I wouldn’t pay attention, and I would commonly get hit in the head with playground balls or basketballs or anything of the sorts.
In seventh grade, I convinced a few of my classmates that I was a vampire and kept up the bit for a whole year. I still get made fun of it sometimes when I see certain people. I also claimed once that I could see people's aura when they got hurt? I was a weird kid, man.

Oh god this still haunts me. Six months ago I had stayed up for 24 hours because I was struggling with really bad insomnia. Anyway, I was in science class working with the girl I liked and I think I was talking about the lab we were doing but I vividly remember saying "well the results say elsely" and she was like, "you mean otherwise?" And I just froze for like six seconds and said. "Yes"
When I was like 10/11 I was in assembly so the whole school was there and my class were on the stage stairs up the front of the hall, with the principal standing in front of the stage handing out awards.
Now at some point I went to the bathroom and came back just as the principal called out a student to get their award, but I didn't know this so when I was about to go behind her to my seat, she thought I was the student getting the award, took my hand and shook it, and I awkwardly ducked my head and scuttled back to my seat because I was confused and didn't want to embarrass myself.
You could feel the confusion and awkwardness until I graduated I was known as the kid who pranked the principal lol
the cringiest thing i ever did was aggressively assert my heterosexuality because i didn't know i was a lesbian yet. i would literally plan out how i was going to look at a boy and make sure my friends noticed because that's totally something that every straight person does, you must plan your crushes or else they don't count.

When I was a kid I went to a fancy restaurant with my family. It was going well until I had to go to bathroom..., When I was done I saw some "perfume" (which was actually roomspray) so I doused myself with this "perfume" and when I was finished and went back to the table people kept looking at me until my dad inhaled and was like yeah we need to leave now and payed, I smelled up the restaurant like a skunk had sprayed me so on the way home all the windows had to be all the way open on the way home and I refused to take a bath so... The house smelled as well, it was cringe at 8 years old
I am still a child but ever since I was very little I've always wanted to crossdress... I don't know why but I've always had this urge to wear girl's clothes, I suppressed it for a while but when I was 13 and started going to puberty the urge returned after a dream. Ever since I've tried to do it in secret but I am so embarrassed when I think about it, I cringe at myself every time.
Don't worry that's not something to cringe at. Just because society's a bit shit about it doesn't mean it's cringy. I actually think crossdressing is pretty cool. Especially if it's something you like, you should try to embrace it even if some people say it's weird. But if you watch drag shows or smth like that you'll see that crossdressing has become quite popular actually. So just do it if you like it, I'm sure you look really nice as a woman!

Here’s one of my cringe stories: when I was 14 (yes, I was 14! I was doing this when I was fucking 14) I used to play the entire hamilton soundtrack and sing and do the full choreography and make my parents, my grandparents, and any other relatives around watch the show. I try and block it out of my memory now.
