One trait that no one usually talks about the Jungle Hunter is how incredibly patient he was. Waiting for that absolute perfect moment to strike and reveal himself if he wished to. Even though is clear Wolf was superior to him in almost every way ... Jungle Hunter will always be my favorite
And we have to keep in mind JHs opponents, it was an elite Spec Ops unit with years of operational combat experience between them and as a unit. They were all experts in modern warfare tactics with the best military gear at their disposal for the time. Hello Schziofenik, loved your ranking videos of the deadliest yautia when you first released them. I’m incredibly glad that you’re doing an updated versions of them. As always I enjoyed your video. With its editing, use of visuals, and how you describe the yautia. It’s always a pleasure. While I would argue that Feral is a deadlier individual than Berserker overall. Feral seemed more careful, patient, analytical of his prey, and I think he was physically superior to Berserker in every way (durability wise I’d say they’re equal). But you’re right that Berserker has more advanced technology (even in typical yautia standards), and also he was incredibly vicious. But that’s my opinion, and I respect yours regarding the two. But you described Berserker perfectly. For the rest of your list, I couldn’t agree more with your placement for the other individuals. I also liked your reasoning for why you thought the Jungle hunter was superior to the City Hunter. With the type of opponents that the JH went up against, as well as the way he took them out. I also love how you described Wolf (as he is among my top 5 favorite yautia). From the stories that can be told from his face, his intelligence, resourcefulness, and his overall capabilities. As always love your yautia videos. And I’m looking forward for your upcoming updated Deadliest Yautia series. Stay well.
It should come as no surprise that Wolf retains the #1 spot. I finally saw AvP: Requiem and now I understand more. Still hoping for a new Predator movie. Since you mentioned the gaming universe, I’m calling it here: The Yautja you play as in Aliens vs Predator 2 will take the #1 spot. As much as I want to say why, I must refrain as it is not my video to make. And also, for legal reasons. Only after that video has been made can I prove my case for the aforementioned Yautja. Fenik, bring that video on! I’d love to see it and if our #1 Yautja differ, I will explain why. Keep up the good work mate!
Another great video! Gotta agree with Wolf in the top spot. He was all-around best in pure skill, planning, and experience. Much as I loved a couple of the others (Jungle & Scar), Wolf epitomized his legendary True Dominator species. He really should have survived in his film - but that disaster of a movie was too invested in following the moronic oomans' fate instead of the real 'stars' we were there to see.
Would that be the skill that made him drop all his weapons and unmask before fighting the Predalien in hand to hand. Despite the fact that he was there to clean up a mess and not for honor?
@jeggsonvohees2201 Yeah too bad that one instance doesn't outweigh the clearly Elite status and vastly superior skill, opposition ( foddering Xenos > fodderizing humans), ingenuity (rebuilt a damaged plasma caster and made it even more lethal), and the fact that Yaujta Prime literally paged him personally for the suicide mission. Maybe after kicking ass for so long, he just wanted a challenge
@USLethal So you're arguing that he's incredibly skilled, yet also so stupid and prideful that he will risk failing a mission directly given to him by Yautja Prime? That's not the compliment you think it is. It's not the only instance either. Earlier in the film, he wastes time skinning and hanging the body of a cop he kills, despite being on a strict deadline as he's racing to stop a xenomorph infestation. In the director and writers own words, Wolfnisnt there for honor, he's on a cleanup job. He makes a plasma gun. That ingenuity you crow about is nothing more than putting a handle on it. In addition, he rip-off both casters despite one of them still being in working order. He doesn't take any parts from it, nothing on the working caster looks like the handle. So yes, he makes one caster a fun while ingeniously wrecking the working one for no reason.
As always on point with your analysis of everything Yautja….I think if I was doing this same topic of conversation I’d go more or less the same way…maybe as I’m slightly biased towards the city hunter id have him in second place…Wolf tho is a complete badass and wished we’d seen him in more movies so he would always be my #1
